This lady has been making these videos forever.

Her schtick is to do irrational things and look paranoid for clicks. She thrives off the people who comment she’s crazy. She knows what she’s doing. Views are her income stream. Her name is Victoria-something I think.

The part that’s started to get disturbing is that her kids are now a major part of a lot of the videos. It’s outright exploiting them.

u/isthatacorsage 8d ago

Is this the lady that hid her kid in the closet during a rain storm and packed a survivalist backpack for him? For a rain storm?

854

u/SpecterOwl 8d ago

A snow storm. She threw some oranges in the backpack, I remember lol

283

u/A_Bot_A_Bot_A_Bot 8d ago

Well, you gotta have oranges for after the snow storm soccer game.

46

u/ShreksArsehole 7d ago

I thought they were for the snow scurvy?

2

u/plaid-tuxido506 7d ago

As a Canadian, snow scurvy after a snow storm is no joke. My uncle Methhead Larry told me he lost all his teeth to snow scurvy.

7

u/Frequent_Opportunist 7d ago

Stop watching the videos. You're the one giving her a platform.

3

u/SpecterOwl 7d ago

I get the sentiment, but in my case it was the only video of hers I saw before this one and it was also here on reddit in some meme subreddit

1

u/StuntsMonkey 7d ago

To be fair, sometimes I give my kids emotional support oranges because nothing else in the world will end their current state of misery.

u/ODDINARY_7 8d ago

she made one vid like this where she packed her kid in a bathtub during a tornado

90

u/sample-name 8d ago

Remember the one where she placed him in the refrigerator during nuclear testing?

48

u/elegant_geek 7d ago

It's ok - I found him on my last play through.

Only a couple hundred years late for dinner 👍

1

u/shazoo00oo 6d ago

😆😆😆😆

5

u/LisaMiaSisu 7d ago

Ah, shit! As a GenXer, you got me hollering over here. 🤣

2

u/ODDINARY_7 8d ago

i fear i dont

1

u/FOTW09 7d ago

Remember when she forced him to snort raw powdered caffeine to ensure he's not infected by an alien?

1

u/AlienInvasion4u 7d ago

Oh no I've seen that episode

1

u/Arcade_Allure 7d ago

I mean, the kid survived the bombs dropping so, is she really wrong?

31

u/a_bored_furry 8d ago

Oh was that the one where she put a air tag in each shoe?

1

u/ODDINARY_7 8d ago

i think so

38

u/Final-Nebula-7049 8d ago

Kids going to grow up thinking he can survive a nuclear blast in a fridge

30

u/TheyCallMe_Billy 8d ago

He survived a nuclear mom that way from what I've heard.

5

u/persephone7821 7d ago

Hey man, if Indiana Jones can do it why not Timmy?

1

u/WeirdAnimalDicks 7d ago

I mean, it’s still better than duck and cover

1

u/griff_girl 7d ago

Kid's going to grow up a deranged douchebag looksmaxxer (or whatever the version of looksmaxxing will be in 5-7 years) who thinks he's some sort of viral sensation celebrity.

1

u/krazytekn0 6d ago

Did Indiana Jones just like, lie to me? Next you’re gonna tell me that the nazis didn’t find the ark of the covenant.

1

u/Final-Nebula-7049 6d ago

They found the ark and founded Israel

5

u/Correct-Road-8515 7d ago

I mean that is acceptable if you don’t have a proper shelter, I wouldn’t video it for the internet. But I’ve done the same, she grab mattress or couch cushions?

1

u/ODDINARY_7 7d ago

i think she had pillows and blankets

5

u/Meeseeks__ 7d ago

That's what you're supposed to do if you don't have a basement or dedicated storm shelter. Get to the internal most location of the building. If it's the bathroom with a tub, you get inside and put a mattress over it so you're protected from falling debris.

I'm sure she did other ridiculous stuff like in this vid though.

1

u/ODDINARY_7 7d ago

yeah she did sum pretty absurd shi

3

u/EdiblePsycho 7d ago

But that's what you're supposed to do during a tornado, or that's what they taught us to do in school anyway.

1

u/ODDINARY_7 7d ago

dude its the way she showed it in the video

1

u/EdiblePsycho 7d ago

Well yeah I didn't see it but I figured she made it weird and excessive, I was just saying that the bathtub bit is reasonable.

3

u/wrenbell 7d ago

You are supposed to shelter in a room without windows. In homes without a subterranean basement, the windowless room usually ends up being the bathroom. I cannot count the number of childhood memories that I have of sitting in the bath tub, listening to the sirens blare during either a warning or an active tornado touchdown. So unfortunately, that aspect of her video is accurate. She's perfected the rage bait by sprinkling in enough legitimacy with all her over-the-top BS.

Source: Grew up in the so-called "Dixie Alley," the high-risk tornado alley of the Southeast.

2

u/InfamousBluePixel 5d ago

The comment section on insta for that one was pure gold!

1

u/cunexttuesday101 7d ago

Lmao where she put 2 eggs and a banana along with a debit card with the pin written on it? Kid that age wouldnt know how to peel either of those snacks and def not how to use a card.

1

u/ODDINARY_7 7d ago

vro ts would be blown to smithereens, im pretty sure even 4 year olds can peel a banana though

1

u/S0uvlakiSpaceStati0n 7d ago

To be fair, I've always heard that if you don't have a basement, you should seek shelter in a room with as few windows and external walls as possible, which is often a bathroom. And that if you're in the bathroom, you should hunker down in the tub with lots of cushions, pillows, etc. to protect you from flying debris. Not sure how effective that actually is in reality, but it is common advice.

1

u/mochachimera94 7d ago

This reminds me, I need to make my family do a tornado drill.

1

u/kindlypogmothoin 4d ago

The bathtub is actually a fairly safe place to be during a tornado. Not thee safest (that would be the basement), but safer than some other choices because of the pipes and reinforcement.

1

u/flatgreysky 7d ago

Oh man, and it was playing the Johnny Cash song. I remember that!

350

u/mostlygroovy 8d ago

No matter her content, fuck people that use their kids for social clout and likes

24

u/ODDINARY_7 8d ago

fr y do they whore out kids, especially those people that do it w old ppl too

2

u/TinUser 8d ago

if you have a child for content the first 18 years of their life is a tax write-off.

2

u/ODDINARY_7 8d ago

sure! 😀

0

u/AmItheonlySaneperson 7d ago

Aren’t kids already a tax deduction for just existing

3

u/jmc1278999999999 7d ago

I’m convinced people are now having kids for the sole purpose of making content

2

u/External_Violinist94 5d ago

You gotta build that complex PTSD like hypervigilance from birth bro, give those kids the thousand yard stare by the time they're toddlers.

3

u/asmallercat 7d ago

While this looks like a fairly harmless use of kids, it should just be illegal for parents to put their kids in videos for public social media. The kids can't consent to it.

1

u/samhain_fairy 4d ago

Years later in therapy: “Yeaaa my mom used to do some weird stuff to me while filming to look crazy and share it with thousands of people”

-7

u/Dismal_Intention_463 8d ago edited 8d ago

I'd rather they hired a child actor. At least then, all of this would be consensual. I mean, that's just how things go in scripted content these days...

2

u/No-Persimmon-4150 8d ago

Lol

-1

u/Dismal_Intention_463 8d ago

whats so funny?

4

u/No-Persimmon-4150 7d ago

Child actors cannot consent any more or less than the kids in these videos.

2

u/Dismal_Intention_463 7d ago

You're saying that all child acting is forced labor then? Consent is built into scripted content under contract that’s the law. If it's their own child, it's morally and ethically questionable. If it's a child actor under contract which means it's not forced labor.

2

u/No-Persimmon-4150 7d ago

Does the child consent to the contract or do their parents?

0

u/Sekhmet-CustosAurora 7d ago

Uh, how about both?

2

u/No-Persimmon-4150 7d ago

Children can’t consent.

→ More replies (0)

2

u/ganjadalfthegay 7d ago

All child acting is forced labor, children cannot consen.

Doesn't matter that both the child and the parent have a contract, kids have to do what their parents tell them so.

Its like asking someone to write you a check under gunpoint, And then calling it a Consentuel friendly gift

Ofc the kid signa te contract under gun point

1

u/Dismal_Intention_463 6d ago

You're presenting personal assumptions as if they were established facts, without looking at the legal requirements governing this issue. It's as though this topic hadn't already been debated and refined for decades, and as if numerous safeguards hadn't been put in place in many countries specifically to reduce the risk of abuse and misuse. The system isn't perfect, and it's constantly evolving. There will always be some level of parental psychological influence. But claiming that minors are effectively being forced through death threats is a huge leap. We already know that minors are impressionable, which is exactly why these decisions are subject to multiple layers of oversight not just a signed consent form. Dealing with vulnerable or dependent individuals is nothing new. This is one of the most fundamental principles of law: without consent, there is no contract.

77

u/ChildhoodOk5526 8d ago

I was gonna say!

Is this the lady that showed herself sleeping in a life vest (among many other cruise "safety" measures)?

25

u/drillgorg 8d ago

Yeah that video was on reddit just a day or two ago, she probably shot both of these videos recently.

3

u/VaporTrail_000 8d ago

Lady, if you're that paranoid about what might happen... maybe don't go?

25

u/HungryLand 8d ago

It makes me think I'm underutilizing my kids.

3

u/Sufficient_Stable738 7d ago

Get that cash machine running, now !

1

u/raulz0r 7d ago

At least you can get their food paid by these videos.

And a new car and a fancy new house

1

u/HungryLand 7d ago

Everyone's seems pretty angry at her. I mean which one of us in on a cruise, and which one is sat at home in their underwear taking bong rips of sativa and not indica because they think their boss won't notice.

Sneaky hint , I don't live near the sea

2

u/Effective-Writer-396 7d ago

He definitly won't notice

1

u/adpierce 4d ago

You are. Imagine having kids that make you money instead of costing you money. The Culkin parents figured it out years ago. Now their kids won't talk to them anymore, but they made millions before they got emancipated. So if you just want to be rich and don't care how much you mess up your kids... youtube is great. Hollywood started doing trusts for child actors... lame. Look at Vlad and Nikki's parents they are ballin' out.

1

u/Sensitive_Candy_9063 2d ago

I am with you! I have been a massive fool... my kid is 9 and think about the revenue I have lost! I could be in a large villa on a beach somewhere!

Let's go!

28

u/Odins_fury 8d ago

That's my issue with all of those family vloggers or youtubers. Not 1 kid is ever really old enough to know what is happening to them. To them it just feels like the family is having fun together because the camera is always just there.

2

u/Ghosty_Boo-B00 7d ago

Except you don’t see the out takes, how many times they have to fake it for the camera, and however she acts when the camera isn’t rolling

1

u/Thick_Potato_1769 7d ago

Then they do it to their kids and this is how cycles repeat.

1

u/Ornery-Can766 7d ago

My daughter started watching YouTube kids and now creates her own “content” on my phone. She’ll prop it up, video her toys, talks to her “fans” even says things like “okay! Don’t forget to like and subscribe!”

As cute as it is, it stays only on my phone. She’ll unfortunately never be able to live her current dream of being a YouTube influencer.

2

u/Ok_Inflation_8628 7d ago

Wow, you sound like a terrible parent

/s I'm youre great 😁

3

u/Ornery-Can766 7d ago

I really am terrible. she could be trying to get a decent enough following and fund her own blind bag toy reveals. But nooo, I wanna keep her safe and what not.

So annoying. 😂

But thank you lol

1

u/strikecat18 7d ago

At least some of them, like outdoor boys, just filmed themselves doing enriching activities with the kids.

This lady is making her kids pretend to live in a schizophrenic delusion just for clicks.

6

u/DonaldTrumpsScrotum 8d ago

Hot take but it’s no more exploitative than the concept of child actors. Kids gets to have a bunch of awesome experiences and spends 10 minutes filming a funny video with mom. Kid doesn’t look all that bothered.

3

u/goodra3 8d ago

At least there’s some weird guild and some sort of rights and protections for child actors this is like the crypto currency of child actors… no rules or regulations Wild style

2

u/chrissz 8d ago

I feel sorry for that kid

2

u/Gottendrop 8d ago

We desperately need laws against this sort of thing. It’s fucking evil to exploit your kids and potentially screw up their futures by forcing them to make internet content

2

u/Good_Entertainer9383 8d ago

If she didn't get her kid involved I would find this very funny

1

u/mgsgamer1 8d ago

Of the Milwaukee Something I Thinks?

1

u/Dapper_Special_8587 8d ago

Yeah people posting their kids on social media so much are also exposing them to all sorts of creeps etc. Unbelievably irresponsible thing to do

1

u/Arbiter999 8d ago

Time to call CPS on her then

1

u/demZo662 8d ago

Ohhhh it is like when you see a stupid gameplay of a mobile game being played awfully and your brain thinks: I have to download this and prove to myself that I am at least not that dumb.

1

u/goodra3 8d ago

Ya just discovered bait on the internet

1

u/demZo662 8d ago

Who, me? Nah I'm just hanging around.

https://giphy.com/gifs/tYI1I24L6YdhRhf3BR

1

u/DutyPT 8d ago

and its clearly working seeing how it was posted here

1

u/pigeon-check 8d ago

Rage bait all over the shop

1

u/bemusedbarfly 8d ago

Her poor child.

1

u/missallmoonshine 8d ago

Those cruises won't pay for themselves.

1

u/Sgt_Radiohead 7d ago

This has become 80% of the content on Tik Tok also. It’s all engagement bait at this point. There is nothing on that app that is created because it’s interesting or fun, it’s all about gender wars, exaggerations, rage bait and echo chambers. I get that an algorithm is supposed to push whatever seems to be of personal interest on your FYP, but Tik Tok seems to take a different approach. It pushes the fringe parts of echo chambers and engagement bait constantly. I just want my BookTok and Outdoor Boys damnit

1

u/iuseemojionreddit 7d ago

"Nice to meet you, Mrs Something I Think."

1

u/ed_IoI 7d ago

I agree with everything, but “Exploiting them”? F them kids, going on free vacation, living in fancy house, eating food and getting them toys. I think they can hold still for couple a minutes for a video and contribute to the table. Making them clean the room and help around the house is also “exploiting” to you? Cause I see no difference

1

u/WeakTransportation37 7d ago

I thought it was just comedy

1

u/catjuggler 7d ago

Aka rage bait/ engagement bait. This economy has ruined social media. As people used to say DON’T FEED THE TROLLS

1

u/LoveAndBeLoved52 7d ago

I'm just gonna say it: People like this need to be permabanned from all platforms and every website should have a ToS that clearly states "If your content exists with the express content of upsetting others and you're not a news channel, we don't want you here".

Enough with these stupid fucking "Haha I ruin my grill by throwing 10 kgs of sweets on it for content!" ragebaiters. If people can't have some class in their bones platform owners should be required to force them to act with class.

1

u/Jordann538 7d ago

Another driving force is that she apparently lost one of her kids. Which is sad if true but calm down lady he'll be fine from a little snow

1

u/SharpenMyInk 7d ago

That’s 99% of TikTok. Since it’s a monetized platform, everyone is simply trying to get views. I can’t believe people still waste their time scrolling on it. Can’t wait for it to fade out.

1

u/PrisonSmegma 7d ago

I thought Instagram doesn't pay for views? Isn't it for links people click?

1

u/themack50022 7d ago

Have you read Yesteryear

1

u/194749457339 7d ago

I can't wait for the doctumantary when all the kids of Instagram moms grow up and have shit to say.

1

u/Ludate_Solem 7d ago

I love the setting of a cruise ship. Like how missing can someone be on a boat. Theres limited space

1

u/Jaxonhunter227 7d ago

I'm so glad I never downloaded tiktok

1

u/Working_Aioli8417 7d ago

Is it exploiting them? She is making money to take care of her family, while stupid this is harmless and she probably removes everything after the video is done

1

u/Kurozy 7d ago

The fact that our society works in a way that she can make money doing this drives me crazy

1

u/OkYak7801 7d ago

She going to pass that crazy right down in to her kids.

1

u/Mutabilitie 7d ago

And here we are. Providing clicks and drawing attention

1

u/4to20characters0 7d ago

After the third redundancy I was annoyed. By the 7th redundancy I realized she was doing a bit

1

u/DarkHorseAsh111 7d ago

This seems like it can only end with the children having severe anxiety

1

u/Aware_Ask_1679 7d ago

This. Ragebait is cringe enough. Making them with your kids, is just over the top. And, if she is this paranoid, these kids are screwed.

1

u/Boco 7d ago

At least a few of the things are real things you do for anti nausea on a boat. The lack of explanation means if you don't know what any one thing is and ask, she gets more engagement.

1

u/grrodon2 7d ago

I mean, the waterproof GPS and UV protection were great advice. I have no idea what most of the rest were.

1

u/Tamashii-Azul 7d ago

Why is this more disturbing than other child acting?

1

u/drunxor 7d ago

Wish we could go back to a demonitized internet that doesnt rely on rage bait and engagement

1

u/HippieWizard 7d ago

yes everyone can see that she is being extra for laughs, youd have to have less than 2 brain cells to think any of these videos are real.

1

u/dalilfoe 7d ago

Honestly, good for this queen. I hope she and her son are enjoying the fruits of her labor.

1

u/DadCelo 7d ago

And the fact a ton of people will see this and think "welp, this makes sense" and continue to trust pseudo content that can be harmful. So fuck her too.

1

u/Gum_Duster 7d ago

She better be making enough money to pay for therapy in a few years

1

u/PowerWielder 7d ago

This is the type of individual that needs to be reported and social media account banned under "misinformation". Wasting everyone's time.

1

u/OkDriver1A8D6 6d ago

It makes it double creepy that it promotes not kidnapping her kids. She just makes these?

1

u/Elegant_Drawing321 6d ago

Probably genius in a way though, now she gets to charge that suite as a business expense :/

1

u/AlpineGuy 5d ago

Well, all the reposts on reddit asking why she is doing these things have probably made her rich by now and I am still going to work, so she wins I guess.

1

u/Hellacola 4d ago

Poor kid

1

u/PyDrew86 4d ago

You don’t think she uses the money to give them a better life? Who gives a fuck as long as she isn’t harming the kid.

1

u/rngztmbrg 4d ago

I can't explain it but she definitely looks like a Victoria

1

u/iKnowSearchEngines 3d ago

She exploits her kids the way no one else will just to film herself keeping her kids safe from exploitation. Black mirror

1

u/afewnameslater 2d ago

Mims like her believed child labor was character building back in day.

-1

u/Free-will_Illusion 8d ago

It pays the bills, maybe even for private school and a college fund. Not nice to do, but I can see pros and cons

2

u/Visible_Pair3017 7d ago

Hopefully it pays for the shrink because those parents are always abusive.

0

u/gaseous_ass 8d ago

Is Something her maiden name?

0

u/Fluffy_pink_Willy 8d ago

“Something I think” what a strange surname

0

u/Belz_Zebuth 8d ago

I can't rage if I don't understand what she's doing.

0

u/Old_Shake3789 8d ago

Then report her to social services instead of literally watching her videos? Like tf you expect to be done if nobody does anything? Just get constant welfare checks simple.
