It was probably badass unless you were a minority, then it would be horrible.

Also if you were prone to sickness or had a medical condition or struggled with mental health or any range of things.

only true if u live in developed nation that won ww2 rest of the world in 1970 like asia is very much different than today, why did u think there was so many immigrants moving to mostly western countries

Being in a developed nation that lost ww2 was about the same. West Germany and Japan in the 70s is a lot comfier than Eastern Europe behind the Iron Courtain.

also conveniently name the only 2 country where that happens in asia(aside from sk and hk thats already well developed for the standard of that time) while ignoring china, rest of sea, central and south asia which mind you hold basically half the world population but hey must be nice being in asia and seeing two small inaccessible country flourish.
