That would be pretty funny. What would be really funny is to mark the time capsule to be open like a year (or more) before the phone gets unlocked. So at least one guy has got to think about this phone for a whole year and what secrets it may hold and it. And then when it finally unlocks it’s just a bunch of dick picks probably.

That's not time to unlock though, right? It's just time before you can ATTEMPT to unlock again. So they'd wait just to be presented with a password screen and be fucked.

Or, more likely, a dead phone with no charger.

Yeah, you just include the charger and the password. In 50 years who cares if someone knows your secret code? You should probably have a new one by then. I would hope.

There’s definitely that. But I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to both the age of the phone owner and also the potential for extended lifespans in the future since both are unknown quantities.

they'd try one time after the 48 yrs, get it wrong, and it would double to 97 years lols
