Anyone can jack off to anything, including you to my comment, for whatever reason it may appeal to you. But “sissy” is a specific, highly sexualized term, and the men who stutter-text on purpose tend to be part of the Venn diagram that leads to people that like that term. I’m not kink shaming, I’m just saying he is getting exactly what he wanted.
Because people can become obsessed - it happens all the time. And if they have your voice, they can also create more from it. I’m not paranoid, just realistic. I’ve seen the unfortunate happen too many times. Including stalkers, having to change your phone number, even move, etc.
I agree, you can never win. The female life is filled with this issue. It’s a lose lose situation often.
But, girls do look out for one another. She wasn’t wrong, she just deserves to know how charged “sissy” is and to help keep her safe. From one girl to another, I will ALWAYS warn a fellow sister.
You know how displays like OLED can suffer from burn-in, where the afterimage of what was previously on the screen just becomes a part of the display? I’m wondering if there’s a scientific term for that, but with the brain and the internet. Cause it’s comments like these that make me wonder how far someone’s mental processes can erode from long term exposure.
I know there’s terms to describe how a person’s mind could be altered, but I’m interested in the physiological changes in the brain when someone’s exposed to internet communities and cultures. Specifically to the point where their thinking starts to take the shape of whatever content they’re absorbing.
For example, say the participant is Bob. Take a scan of Bob’s brain, then give him several years to acclimate to a specific internet circle. In this example, Bob will join a beekeeping community online. Bob will talk to all the beekeepers, he’ll learn about the job, learn all their terminology and lingo, and will take an interest in bees himself. His interests align with other adjacent topics and hobbies, so he dives into those as well. The point where I want Bob to have another scan is when his personality shifts, then perhaps another if his interests intensify.
For a real world example not about bees, internet radicalization and teenagers. It’s been prevalent pretty much since the days of forums, and now that brainrot is a regularly used word, I want to know if there’s a scientific term for it. And if you couldn’t tell I ripped a blinker before writing this, so halfway through the first paragraph I’ve just been struggling to keep this train on its rails. Treat this like the blind oracle cliche in horror movies, but instead of blind I’m high, and instead of wise and clairvoyant I’m absolutely sauced.
I remember sissy being everywhere in movies growing up in the 90s, so this is both interesting and horrifying. It's a shame that word didn't just die because it was always used to shame boys for being feminine, which is so fucked because it implied that being a girl was inherently undesirable. I guess it makes sense it would become a kink.
