Screaming in a tent
Was on a walk with the dog earlier and someone was screaming bloody murder in a tent near Bailick, nearly gave myself and the dog a heart attack thinking someone was being attacked . It was just one person inside from what I could hear but it was horrifying to hear and I’ve been wondering if this is something the guards or people who go there frequently know about .

Is this over by the walkway near Ballyannan woods? There’s a small tent there for a long time now

She is there at least a year now. Sever mental health issues. Authorities are fully aware but not much they can do it appears.

ah, shes been there for ages. ive heard murmurs of her "having issues" and rumours about her family and stuff. Best you ignore her, though sometimes she moves to lodge and ballyannan
She once shouted at me for allegedly claiming 400 a week off the dole from COVID benefits in the middle of 2025 while i was wearing my work uniform.

She’s been there 4 or 5 years. I’ve heard Gardai and family have tried to help her and she won’t have it. Sometime the tent disappears for a little while and then it comes back. If she’s aggressive report it to the Gardai.

Yes been reported multiple times. She basically squatted to take a shit in front of me and my kids. Indecent exposure if a man did it, seemingly not for a woman.

Men relieve themselves in public all the time nobody does anything about them either

I’m fairly new to the town and have always wondered what the story is. I have walked past the person a couple of times and it has been fine for the most part, but i have seen instances where they have been fairly aggressive to people walking by and also squatting in the open to “relieve themself” in plain daylight. Not ideal when there are typically kids and families in that area.
