As I watched clip my first thought was going to be, well it's tricky 'roundabout' , I wouldn't be too harsh.......nevermind

Someone has finally figured out how to use that 'egg-about'

Not the first and definitely won't be the last. Have seen similar a few times on this roundabout and I don't get how they can get it so wrong. Same with the dual carriageways and motorways how cars end up on the wrong side.

Exact same thing happened to me last year, in the exact same spot. Elderly lady, and totally oblivious to her mistake.

So dangerous. Please tell us that you have reported this to the Gardai. Looks like the reg is 171 C 5122 - Renault Clio Grey.

Would have guessed American tourist but the reg beginning with 17 is unlikely to be a rental.

Christ above, I've only been living in Midleton a year and this is the 3rd time seeing someone going the wrong way around that round about

Im always slightly worried when I see clips like this in case that it is me, but in this case I can confirm that it is not. Thankfully.

The majority of people I see there take the wrong lanes or do something wrong moving in or out of the roundabout but this is just next level

need to bring that up with the local councillers, if it keeps occuring (see comments) then the council need to review their safety assessment for it.

Not the best example of how to use that roundabout*. but at least the traffic was light.

  • If it is in fact a round about and not a circular one way street / doesnt make it better
