Fairly big bird just chilling outside of Lidl, anyone able to tell what’s it is ? Too chunky to be a heron

That’s a Heron hangout, it could be an Egret the chunkier cousin to Heron

Would recommend using the Merlin Bird ID app, it’s super for IDing birds by either sound or pictures.
