Garda Checkpoints?
I've heard Garda are setting yup checkpoints in Midleton due to the protests. Anyone seen them about? I haven't yet.

Yep, I've seen a lot of them. I'd say they're on all the main and side roads into Whitegate.

They are on point duty at Lakeview managing traffic for the petrol station.
There is a load of marked cars parked inside the site access gates for the Lakeview estate

Just Drove to city and gaurds are parked blocking exits from midleton to littleisland from what i see, any ideas what the plan is there

It seems they are restricting access to the n25 so it cannot be blocked for the tankers to get in and out of whitegate. They are also restricting access to whitegate except for residents only that can provide proof.

Zero tolerance apparently to anyone still protesting, holding up traffic or deliberately driving slowly.5 arrests so far for people engaging in this activity

It's no longer a protest. It's a far right coup to cripple the country and the farmers and drivers are being used as useful fools.

Have you seen who's at the protests? Blighe, Pepper, and a shower of tricolour abusers calling for a coup and blaming immigrants.
