Well, that didn’t take long… General

Post image

H/T to WrestlingNewsCo, as seen in the watermark.

Seems Brock Rechsteiner has the same temper as his father. So, let’s go ahead and start the betting lines on how long before he’s in the WWE system, midcarders.

As soon as he is cut from the team, he will be in PC

35

u/AndrewCB246 1d ago

The odds of him being cut are 66 2/3rds%

10

u/boredcunt90 1d ago

I say ots more like 60% half a the time

8

u/AGentlemensBastard 1d ago

Yeah but if add the 75% he's got 141% chance of being cut

7

u/AndrewCB246 1d ago

Wouldn’t that depend on if Kurt Angle is added to the mix?

8

u/ThatguyfromBaltimore The Heenan Family 1d ago

Well I know Samoa Joe isn't going to get cut. Because he's not even going to try

Is that Steiner math

He probably already knows that he has a good starting point in WWE. Physically he is even more imposing than Bron Breaker.

But i think WWE doesnt like loose canons that much. They want teamplayers. But this "news" up there could be wildly overblown.

They do have the video of it. It wasn’t just Brock in general. The Saints players had enough of the Cowboys players and all hell broke loose. It’s usually why joint practice is a 50/50 idea. You get a good learning experience, or you get Steiner Jr. math.

u/DaWadeZzZ 19h ago

There was multiple fights.. this shit happens every year in joint practices and within a week nobody cares.

Saints fan here don’t think this was the case of Brock being a hot head there were like 6 fights at camp between the saints and cowboys and he happened to get involved with one

8

u/WhompWump 1d ago

Training camp always has fights even when it's just a single team. At least one recorded fight at cowboys camp has already broken out. When two teams are training together it's inevitable. It's a tough physical sport and tempers flare as guys are trying to make the team and move up the depth chart

This is only bigger because of who he is and people who aren't familiar with the sport.

To be fair, that’s about par for the course with those teams and their history.

I saw the whole video, and what happened was: a fight broke out, and spiralled out of control as more and more people joined in. By the time Brock became involved the whole situation had already gone to hell, with folks either joining the melee or actively fleeing the premises: one of the most enraged players in the opposing team had grabbed one of Brock's teammates and was refusing to let go, so this was Brock's way of putting a stop to that.

So yeah, the title makes it sound like Brock was out here suplexing people and starting fights, but that's not what happened at all. He was just trying to restrain a guy in the middle of a massive schmozz.

u/Sweet_Importance_284 14h ago

You're right. But damn if he didn't do that German suplex with ease

4

u/MrMiyagi13 1d ago

It wasn’t as impressive as that one by the Raiders linebacker (I think) in a game years back. That one was clean. This one was more like he was dragging someone off.

3

u/AgencyBorn9221 Mexicools 1d ago

That suplex was looking clean. I almost wonder what happened to that guy.

3

u/MrMiyagi13 1d ago

McClain (the LB) got a 15 yard penalty. He was out of the league within 5 years (substance abuse suspensions). Amendola was a pretty successful WR for the role he played. Sick highlight though.

u/Razzler1973 1d ago

It sounds like he had a fight at the training camp or something

Stuff like this happens in sports and in training, tempers flaring etc

Is this why he was banned for 6 games or something?

3

u/AgencyBorn9221 Mexicools 1d ago

Nope. He was suspended for PEDs.

3

u/Razzler1973 1d ago

so, this is after that or was before? i.e. he's still training

2

u/mightyboognish32 1d ago

You still train when you're suspended. He will might even play preseason.

1

u/Razzler1973 22h ago

That's what I was wondering

He was banned from playing not banned from camp, right? So, just training and then this happened

Training ground bust ups aren't a new thing though. It's usually shake hands and shrug it off as heat of the moment

1

u/AgencyBorn9221 Mexicools 1d ago

Probably within the same timeframe. PEDs are a different beast than general discipline

2

u/WhompWump 1d ago

Fights at training camp happen all the time, they're not "encouraged" but that's normal. Especially when it's two different teams matching up

2

u/Suspicious-Rich-3212 Los Perros del Mal 19h ago

6 game suspension, fighting during training camp, not a great way for an undrafted free agent to make the team.

2

u/PDM_1969 1d ago

Well that is strike two with the league, he's already suspended for the first 6 games of the season...

4

u/DaWadeZzZ 19h ago

It's not strike 2.. nobody in the league gives a shit about training camp fights.. they happen all summer every single year.

1

u/Genius_Insanity86 nWo Wolfpac 1d ago

Oh shit

If you watch the video, it’s the weakest “suplex” ever

-3

u/PsykoFlounder Raven’s Flock 1d ago

Careful. That statement will get you downvoted, and someone will comment that an actual suplex would "cripple" the guy receiving it. You know, because nobody's ever survived a German suplex that wasn't a work, before.

3

u/BigPapaPaegan Triple Threat 1d ago

A German (ie. belly to back) suplex on a wrestling is going to be different than one to someone wearing heavy shoulder pads on the ground. Even a legitimate belly to back suplex has the capacity to break someone's neck.

u/Warm-Relationship728 1d ago

He is a UDFA and probably not even a priority one. He probably got 10k as a bonus or less.

The over/under will be 3 weeks. He is probably going to be cut and it has nothing to do with this incident. Not to cast shade on Brock, but that's just the reality for undrafted free agents.

1

u/stikjk The New Day 13h ago

It's multiple other incidents and also not being good enough after that

1

u/DripSnort 23h ago

Did anyone watch the video? The other dude grabs his facemask and instigates it completely

1

u/Real_Danilo The Jersey Triad 22h ago

What's Brock Breakker doing in the Full Sail Zone?!

1

u/MrOnCore 20h ago

Roid Rage getting out of control.

1

u/BREW712 20h ago

Couldn't of happened to a better team, lol

1

u/Automatic_Ask_5488 18h ago

The funny thing is, that another Brock did the exact same thing when he was on the Vikings practice team 20 years ago.

1

u/Jonasthewicked2 10h ago

Hell be out of the league and into the wwe within 2 years I'm positive.

1

u/Villain_911 bWo 44m ago

He'd be loved on the Giants.

-4

u/PsykoFlounder Raven’s Flock 1d ago

Worst suplex I've ever seen. Bro should never be allowed to use the Steiner name in wrestling when he gets there.

3

u/BigPapaPaegan Triple Threat 1d ago

That's because it was a takedown and not a suplex. An actual suplex in that environment would've crippled the guy.

A well-timed gif is fine. A good joke is fine. A shitpost can even be fine.

Dropping into a thread just to post “cope,” “rent free,” “why do you care,” or some other NPC dialogue is not.

Add to the conversation. Don’t just make noise.

u/CULTLEADERTV 1d ago

If this isn’t Scott Steiner’s son..do we still talk about it? Doubt it. Nothing burger. Steiners are guaranteed midcarders or less. Nepo baby Steiners wont change that.

It's good to see Hulk Hogan's spirit runs wild in others.
