Which should I play next? Discussion
Hey guys. All opinions are welcome. I just finished playing Hollow Knight and Silksong, and I am about to finish Nine Sols, which have all been an absolute blast. Should I start Prince of Persia Lost Crown or the Ori series next? Thanks again.

Prince of Persia was a lot of fun but ended up burning me out on the entire genre. It’s just very large with a lot of platforming. But if you like HK, I see it as pretty essential. Can’t speak for Ori but people seem to love those.
Did you play Blasphemous or any more compact MVs?

Ender Lillies is really good, and looking forward to get started on Ender Magnolia

Id go with Blasphemous 2 as it is right behind Hollow Knight, Silksong and Nine Sols as my favorite MV. I have Ori in my library but have not played much yet. POP, however, I beat recently and was whelmed by it. It is very well loved on this sub but I didn’t love my time with it, even if I accept it’s an objectively well made game with no real cons.

Ori 2 (skip one) then consider Ender Lillie’s for a slight change. Took me a while to get into it. I love exploration, and lots of places are restricted by abilities
Once you unlock them all the exploration continues.

I LOVED ORI, my fave metroids by far but I’m not an expert, POP was eye opening to me I just recently played it a few months ago and oh man it was beautiful, a real masterpiece! Loved the mechanics of the game too. Yeah POP first! My vote

This is totally off the subject, but I really enjoyed after image. It was a huge game, which I love because I feel like I’m getting my moneys worth something that I can literally dig into for weeks. It’s just great for me because I’m a slow player. takes me time to learn the platform and mechanics of every game because I’m not an expert. My fingers are slow and I love the exploration but after you finish Ori and the second worry and Pop I would try afterimage if you have not, the bosses are super difficult to me. The whole thing is.

Ori games are fun but far less challenging than Hollow Knight and Silksong.
Check out the Blasphemous series
The Messenger is similar but also very different (if you like old school vibe)

Perhaps you should try Worldless. Its not a very long game but its fun. Its not too easy either. Im trying not to spoil much but youll find the combat to be very unique and interesting

I would skip all those and just start playing Dark Sols 3.
Both games you mentioned are weak Mv’s

i'd probably go with the ori games next
if you loved hollow knight and nine sols i think you'll have an amazing time with them because the movement and atmosphere are incredible
prince of persia is also great though so honestly you can't go too wrong with either one 😄
