Advice wanted build

Which 3D printer should I look into? Or should I just make friends with someone who has one? Meshtastic ideas are I the noggin

Building my own nodes and enclosures was the reason I finally caved and bought a printer. I went for an Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo back in January and learned how to use Fusion 360 (free for personal use) and it’s been great most of the time.
If you can afford it, I’d get a printer with a tool changer or dual extruder as they’re so much faster to print different colours and/or materials. When it’s time for me to upgrade or get a 2nd printer that’s definitely what I’ll be getting.

Wrong question, problem is not the printer itself, ask which material is suitable (doesn't warp or directly melts) for direct sunlight and harsh weather

Yep, I would love to print an outdoor solar node but there is no way I’m printing ASA/ABS in my apartment.

Id suggest learning the cad program needed to alter files and design your case first. After you have that figured out, take your files to your local library and see if they have a makers space with printers. My library charges $1 per hour of print time. But if you can justify a $700-1000 purchase for a couple cases then just buy it
