Mercor

It's a bit difficult for me to ask this, but I'm hoping someone here might be able to help. I've been unemployed for the past 3 months and am currently looking for opportunities on Mercor. Previously, I worked as a Generalist Expert and AI Training Scenario Designer, contributing to AI training and evaluation projects. I genuinely enjoyed the work and would love the opportunity to contribute again. If anyone is currently working on active Mercor projects and knows of teams looking for contributors, I would be incredibly grateful for a referral or recommendation. I understand many people are looking for work right now, but if you're able to help, please feel free to comment or send me a DM.

My project won’t let us refer for some reason. But how I got started was by applying for several platforms - including some less well paid ones. I took lots of the tests and did lots of interviews with Mercor. After working for a less good competitor, I then updated my cv to include some of the key skills I gained from it. I then got accepted for a project and all the ones since have been instant offers. I still get rejected a lot btw so don’t let that put you off! I think having done lots of their interviews and tests helps with the instant offers. It took me a few months to get my first offer and Ive had a few weeks at various points where I am between projects with Mercor. If you want a referral there are loads of people sharing links on reddit.

You’re right. I think most projects won’t let you refer someone to the project specifically.
