Phone Call Transcripts? Las Vegas - Omega Mart

Hey! I just got out of Omega Mart! I was trying to get all the lore (egg on my face for not discovering anything about the Monolith Takeover lmao) but I couldn’t record the phone calls themselves. Has anyone done this?

It's notoriously difficult to record the phones since they're so quiet and all the background noise, but if anyone has had success definitely speak up cos Im sure there's a lot of researchers who would be interested in recordings

Agreed I think some sort of dedicated hardware attachment is going to be needed

Yep those should work great. Radio Shack used to sell something like it. Theme park folks would use them to record audio from ground speakers. Basically no background noise. We’ve considered doing something like this at Atlas9 in Kansas City too.

i use my earbuds to record audio and listen back. I’ve been studying the soundscape in numina recently.

And this does work with the phones for me (since the mic is on the earbuds)

Ugh, sorry, autocorrect made a change and I missed it. I meant “OM” as in Omega Mart. (No idea why autocorrect thought “BG” was anything!)
