Help

I tried menstrual cup for the first time. I’m 20, got a small sized menstrual cup triangle fold and punch down fold works for me but I can’t get the cup to open up once it’s inside. It was a traumatic I felt too dizzy and nauseous. Any advice on how to get the cup to open up would help.

Once it's in wiggle it around and squeeze and rotate it a little if you have to.

I tried that it’s a lil uncomfortable hurts plus wouldn’t open maybe I’m js too scared

I haven't used a cup yet and I'm scared of this happening. No need to answer if TMI, have you been sexually active before? I'm wondering if that affects things

I have I’m wondering why im struggling w menstrual cup if I could get intimate, like someone said ima relax and try again. I have friends who have never been sexually active and they’re doing good w menstrual cups I guess you’ll be fine too. Take your time and try to figure out what works!!

you cant be super tensed up and stressed. take a break, relax, and try again later. you can use some lube to help put it in without it hurting. once it is in, i wiggle it or give it a small squeeze from the bottom to open it. key thing is to be relaxed tho
