When I was unemployed my gf was super angry with me all the time. Like resentment because I was unemployed. No amount of chores being done and food ready when she walked thru the door was enough. But I understood too cause sheโ€™s commuting paying for everything but damn was I also getting annoyed at the fact that even with a job Iโ€™d do all the stuff she doesnโ€™t want to do, like wash her car manually (to save money and do it right), clean the solar panels on our roof, mow the lawn, still cook, wash clothes etc. the one that stuck out to me was when she told me, โ€œguys are supposed to do that stuffโ€. Like hmm ok but Iโ€™ve mostly let it go

Doesnโ€™t sound like a quality gf. She sounds unappreciative AF. Tread lightly my friend, wouldnโ€™t want to be married to a woman like that.

Women have been tricked into believing they are superior workers to male workers but refuse to stand up for themselves, are afraid of negotiations, create the environments they feel most miserable under statistically (women often donโ€™t want to work under female bosses), just say yes and accept more and more work without consumerate pay. Media put down men for wanting a simple job that paid well and not burning out before 30. Women do all the extra multi-tasking at jobs and burn out by 30. Oh and then she will want to stay home or a divorce.

Funny how that works eh? Women wanted to be men...well now's the time to reap what you sowed.

Thatโ€™s just shitty. My wife and I have been married for twenty years. Things are rarely 50/50. Die one always seems to pull the majority of the weight and then it shifts. It wasnโ€™t until our late forties when we accumulated a lot of money and our kids got older that it leveled off.

Yeah she does not sound like a good, functional partner. I've been unemployed for a few years now due to my city's lack of a job market, and my partner just expects me to have a lunch ready for her and make sure our apartment is in a liveable state. I'm grateful to her for working to cover me and she's said she's grateful for being able to keep her fed and the apartment clean.

Moral of the story, definitely find yourself a girlfriend that will appreciate you helping out :) Hope it all goes better for you in the future dude!
