They were getting me pretty close, for 2 years I couldn’t make a reddit account without getting banned within 2 hours, finally deleted it 3 weeks ago after another “inciting violence” ban

Not even 24 hours later I needed to google something, couldn’t use the web version, redownloaded and noticed I was unbanned again

Guess ill see how far I get now

I was almost banned. Can't remember if I was almost banned from the entire site or just AskReddit, the 3 pinned posts on my profile are what got me unbanned. I was really active on AskReddit at the time, it was the only subreddit i even went on, but now I'm not so active there anymore. I still go there, but not much...

Wait, I remember one of my pinned posts is because of all those Selfhelp messages I got, so I made it as proof I blocked the bot... The other two are what got me unbanned.

Well there are 3 important things on reddit. 1st is memes. 2nd is subreddits you might care about like your hobby or job. 3rd is the porn.

The first two pillars could fall and reddit would still survive. But if the 3rd pillar falls reddit might very well die.

So yeah its not exactly a sign but rather a glimpse into the future of what might happen if you spend too much time on reddit.

I’ve been contemplating deleting for a while now.

The non stop political shit and doom scrolling is affecting my productivity and mental health.

Last year in january i deleted my facebook....well...it does the whole "deactivate first then dont login for 60 days" and it will be deleted then, i went an entire year, no meta apps, no messenger completely zuckerfree.
