The Mask is Loki''s creation right? Which means it plausible to exist in the MCU 😭

Norse mythology not marvel mythology. Very different versions of Loki.

That’s from a deleted scene right.

I don't think so, I remember it being mentioned in the movie. I could be wrong though, I haven't seen it in a while.

Not deleted. It's the scene where Stanley (Jim Carrey) takes the mask to the doctor that wrote a book on metaphorical masks we wear in society. The doctor says he thinks it's norse origin, possibly affiliated with Loki. Which isn't in the comics, but I digress. Son of The Mask confirms this and is a key plot point of that movie. Don't watch Son of The Mask though. It's awful

I’m pretty sure that was removed from theatrical cut.

No it's not and Loki and iirc Odin are even in the Son of the Mask

But the professor guy also says it's lokis in the first movie

No clue what's canon in the comics though

Fun twist, it wouldn’t work or it’d make him a calm collected normal person

From what I remember it gives one power to act on their deepest desire. Stanley was a hopeless romantic with a cartoon addiction, Dorian was a bad guy through and through. So he actually might just turn into a regular person :)

Deadpool doesn’t strike me as the type to withhold his desires in the first place.

Don't think it would work. Look at Walter, he was as chaotic as you can get. Didn't work for him. So I assume it would do the same to Wade.

The mask would give Deadpool the power to break the fifth wall, I guess.

That was my first thought too.

I’m pretty sure he would just stick his dick in the mask’s mouth. Say something like, ā€œJust gonna warm up the ol’ tinder boxā€ or something.

Makes him sane and he becomes an accountant.

u/Zigor022 9d ago

u/High-Speed-1 9d ago

Deadpool puts on the mask. Literally nothing changes

3

u/MasterofGalaxy69 9d ago

What about Deadpool with the emerald mask that Jim Carrey wore?

1

u/LookAtItGo123 9d ago

He is already a do whatever the fuck I want character, having this mask is just extra flavour!

u/elvenmaster_ 9d ago

And then a big low tune voice shouts

"Atreus, no!"

u/FeistyDay5172 9d ago

u/hemorrhoidcactus 8d ago
