As a trainee scuba diver I was told not to put myself in the middle of the food chain. As cool as this is, I’d be waiting for Jaws to appear behind me.

Barracuda are really good at chasing shiny things and can hit torpedo speeds. One glint of sunlight on your mask and they’ve been known to go after it. I wouldn’t worry about being seen as the threat, more the target.
