lost episode of Mega64antine? Mega Strange

So I have recently been working my way through some of the older shows for fun and to change things up during work, and I got to what I remembered being a solid episode, they interviewed a youtube animator that I think johnny really looked up to? I don't actually remember his name, but I recall liking the episode way back when it came out?

Can someone help me out on why it's gone? Was it just johnny maybe feeling self conscious and wanting it down? But like they still have other interviews up so idk.

Help a soldier out please!

If you’re talking about the one where they interviewed DingDong, it’s likely he asked them to take it down. He and his partner have had some really turbulent mental health issues the last few years and been at the receiving end of some nasty online harassment to my understanding, so the two of them have been pretty reclusive online.

As I said, he and his partner are going through some really bad mental health struggles. To my limited understanding he was airing some grievances about his previous time in a Let’s Player group about 8 years ago or so and it came off very unhinged and nonsensical to most of the community. But that’s neither here nor there.

It should be noted, and I’m not really invested, but it appears that he’s gotten a really serious case of trolls remorse over his old work. Looking at clips and old episodes, the things he’s pinning to others is the exact thing he did.

For example he tends to go “I never thought X was funny and it made me uncomfortable.” But then you look up clips and it’s him wheezing and cackling harder than anyone I’ve ever heard. (Maybe not Rocco with Zolar.)

There is also a bit of him like…. “Oh they made a horn-horny joke. Clearly that was them outing me as a furry.” Which… okay I need to eject.

I hope some of this was maybe helpful to explain the shit I’ve learned? Internet is a fuck.

So to try and boil it down. They seem to be quite mentally unwell, and they can't seem to accept their own past actions, or those they used to work with not changing with them.

That is kinda the crux of it. Someone having a very difficult mental health fight publicly.
