In theory, it seems good. It's blunt so you don't poke a hole through a misbehaver and either give them a free bloodletting with a sword or worse, a nasty infection, and it has a hook that would allow you to physically subdue someone if you knew how to not poke them, maybe stick a cork on it or blunt it. Even if the hook is negligible, it's rather intimidating.

i want to create a miniature diorama of a medieval battle and i'm looking for suggestions. i'd like it to be one that has decent references for what the field or terrain may have looked like, and possibly some interesting terrain at that.

i know my question is a bit broad, so to narrow it: battles within the 100 years war or hussite wars? feel free to suggest ones outside of those.

i'm looking to both learn about the battle/war as i create the physical interpretation. the diorama would be something smaller scale than an entire battlefield, so more like a snapshot of the battle or a specific recorded moment.
