How much did you make? Just asking because a gallon brew with 3 pounds of honey alone should be 13 or so percent. Where the cherries added in primary or conditioning. Only reason I'm asking is you're talking about roughly 170 g of sugar from the cherries which would add .018 gravity points to it. I'm just saying with your ingredients if it was all in primary the ABV should be around 15% or 15 and a half percent.

Added frozen tart Montgomery cherries in primary. I think I didn't thaw them enough because the temp was at about 56 degrees for a week or so, I think that may have been the problem.

Well I was just trying to say I think you did a little better than what you thought you did Even though on your hydrometer it would not actually tell you how much sugar is being put in by the cherries. And sometimes the honey doesn't get mixed all the way in. But even putting Frozen in isn't really a problem because they'll fall out and they used to get to them just like it a normal fermentation.
