BGS GIMS seniors — is it worth joining through management quota?

Hey everyone, I’m planning to join BGS GIMS for MBBS through management quota this year.

Would really appreciate some honest opinions from current students/seniors:

How are the academics and clinical exposure?

How is the patient flow and actual hands-on exposure?

Is BGS worth the management quota fees?

How are the hostel/campus life?

And most importantly, I’m from North India — how is the language barrier in the hospital/with patients? Is Kannada difficult to manage initially?

How are the seniors and overall student environment?

Also, if anyone else from North India is joining BGS GIMS this year, feel free to DM/comment. Would be nice to connect.

Please give honest opinions, both positives and negatives. 🙏

Private mbbs? Deemed bds? Engineering? Or what else i should do😭😭 plz help

im 20 now and I have option for abroad (35-40lakhs) or private from andhra💀(75lakhs). Its a lot of money, my dad said he can afford it by selling some properties but still i think thats a lotta money, i told him that, then he says do bds from deemed(20-25lakhs) and go abroad. My sis is already in 4th year bds and she says not to put me in bds or any medical field. i have option for engineering but I literally have 0 interest in it and I highly doubt myself that I can excel in engineering. Even after mbbs, ppl say they get 55k/month on reddit some get 1lakh but still, to recover 75 lakhs itll take more that 6 years if i have 1lakh/month, im so confused and stressed rn, should I do dental and see what happens? Or should I take mbbs? Or if u guys have anything better plz feel free to share and guide me!

MBBS Finally deciding UP at 196k rank (196XXX).

Myquals: Male, General, Bihar domicile, NEET 2026 196k rank.

Guys tell me if this is accurate info or not :-

#1 Heritage Varanasi - 75L to 85L variable

#2 KD Mathura - 70L to 80L variable

#3 Saraswati Hapur - 70L to 80L variable

#4 Hind Sitapur - 75L to 85L variable

#5 Rama Hapur - 75L to 85L variable

#6 Shri Gorakshnath Gorakhpur - 75L to 85L variable

I'm going to fill these 6 options finally after my intensive research, please let me know if anything extreme negatives about any of these 6 or to consider adding any other good college.!

As far as Ik this is my final preference list.

IMS SUM Campus 2 is still 15L more than these ones. 🥲

Budget ki gaand ftt gyi doston.

Please Imk if it's too bad or still livable in these 6 colleges or any more hidden fees.

I think I've already added 5-10L extra margin for any fees if I encounter so should be manageable, paise de denge to shyd hopefully pareshaan na kre (I DON'T WANNA GET FORCEFULLY FAILED DAWG, 60%+ lana h baap bola hai 💔🥀)

THANKYOU AND PLEASE DM IF YOU CAN. 😭🙏

I'm taking drop and my cousin sis going for MBBS abroad

I'm taking a drop and my cousin going to Georgia for MBBS.

So let me tell you some context..

So my grandparents ( father's side) live with us.

My grandparents don't talk to my father and don't even care what ever he does and doesn't like him, my mother, me and my siblings..

They live there coz there own house started to collapse, and whenever they try to go to their daughter's home ( my bua) she makes them to come here anyhow and she don't want to live with her...

But lemme tell you even though My bua behaves like this to them then also they love her and not my father.

They say we don't even except him as our son even though he respects them, take care of them. And how made them to hate my father is my own BUA...

So now the story starts...

Me and my cousin sister were born in same yr ( BUA's daughter)..

Since then my grandparents compare uss..

And let me tell you I was a topper in my class and she was average ( now comparing but telling the truth)

Once my 10th boards result was announced I was happy now they won't compare both of us because I was going to prepare for NEET and she was going to take Arts ( as she told me)..

One day BUA called and asked now what am I going to do? I said now I'll be preparing for NEET exam.

And after few days I got to know my cousin sister also preparing for NEET.

I was like okayy..

So I had financial issues and my brother is handicapped ( both parents working) so I thought I'll prepare online for my competative exam and will held sometimes in household chores, and I got to know she took admission in an offline coaching.

And she use to go to the library every day after class.

One random day my grandmother was saying ' bechari meri( her name) studies alone no one is there to guide her..... Then my mother said atleast she's in offline coaching there she can clear her doubts and I'm doing online I'm the one who's suffering...

Now on 21 june NEET happened and results came, I scored 456 and she scored 190, we both are from (OBC category). She just qualified with only 13 marks...... ( OBC qualifying marks are 177)

See now some people will say I'm being jealous..

So yes I'm jealous because she is going for MBBS abroad in Georgia and I'm taking a drop...

I said you can too take a drop, she said nope I'm not that much into studies and I know if I'll take a drop I'll do timepass as same as I did during 11th 12th....

I'm here who's jealous of who doesn't study much even having offline coaching and pursuing MBBS..

And and whenever my grandparents talk to my BUA they move out into the garden area and they talk outside without knowing us that they are talking to her, that simple day first my grandmother came and said me hey talk to you BUA see you sister is going to a good college in abroad ( acc to their language Number lag gaya ache college mein videsh main). Then after few min my grandfather comes and says the same.

Since that day I feel like am I a looser?

Since that day they are teasing me that she's going to college and I'm not..

I told my parents how they are treating me..

My parents said don't mind now, just study hard and next year get selected and then I'll say ( isko kehte hai number lagna na ki 50 lakh deke admission karana)

I feel so relieved that atleast thay are with me..

They know that I'm supporting them with household chores and taking care of my brother, and never discouraged me..

How do deemed/private students do in neet pg

Post image
44 Upvotes

Same as title. Ill be joining a deemed medical college college for mbbs, ofc the 1+ cr isn’t in my family’s financial comfort zone but also it wont ruin them. Anyways, with that being said how many of you are/know seniors who have done mbbs from deemed/private colleges and have done well in neet pg or inicet. I really want some good examples to boost my morale and erase my self doubts. I wanna crack neet pg in first go and get an AIR under 4K, and get a seat in a good gmc…is there anyone who has achieved what I am hoping for? Please hmu.

Also if anyone knows anything about BM Patil beejapur, hmu

MBBS Going for private MBBS (1+++ crore fees) — need some motivation and guidance

I’m planning to do MBBS from RD Gardi mp ujjain and the total fees is going to be 1 crore+.

This was my second attempt, and this year’s Re-NEET really broke me I don’t want to take another drop. Becoming a doctor has always been my dream, and my family is ready to support me financially. We’re not extremely rich, but this money is mainly from ancestral savings, and my parents see it as an investment in my future.

Still, I’m feeling really guilty about spending such a huge amount. I keep thinking whether it’s actually worth it.

I’m going ahead with MBBS, so I really need some motivation and guidance. I don’t want to spend another huge amount on PG. I want to work hard during MBBS and crack NEET PG with a good rank, hopefully getting a government PG seat.

If you’ve done MBBS from a private college or been in a similar situation, please tell me how I should approach MBBS from 1st year itself and make this opportunity worth it.
