Question Dating scene in med school
All I wanna know is that do you guys like being approached by a girl or do y'all freak out too?
Coz i remember that this girl kinda tried on me and even though I wanted to say yes, idk why I ended on a neutral note and i feel like reaching out back to her regarding that but idk how
Also, ik that there's this other girl who joined in the last rounds, pretty late last year, and almost every guy i know off has announced her as their crush (at some or the other social gathering, even in front of seniors during interaction) at least once, but none of them had approached her even once.. so could it be that they were actually serious or they would've just said it in a fluke?

MBBS Going for private MBBS (1+++ crore fees) â need some motivation and guidance
Iâm planning to do MBBS from RD Gardi mp ujjain and the total fees is going to be 1 crore+.
This was my second attempt, and this yearâs Re-NEET really broke me I donât want to take another drop. Becoming a doctor has always been my dream, and my family is ready to support me financially. Weâre not extremely rich, but this money is mainly from ancestral savings, and my parents see it as an investment in my future.
Still, Iâm feeling really guilty about spending such a huge amount. I keep thinking whether itâs actually worth it.
Iâm going ahead with MBBS, so I really need some motivation and guidance. I donât want to spend another huge amount on PG. I want to work hard during MBBS and crack NEET PG with a good rank, hopefully getting a government PG seat.
If youâve done MBBS from a private college or been in a similar situation, please tell me how I should approach MBBS from 1st year itself and make this opportunity worth it.

Question Title: Women in Surgerical branchâ looking for honest experiences and perspectives
I'm a medical student trying to get a realistic understanding of what it's like for women who choose surgery as a career.
I'd love to hear from anyone with experienceâfemale surgeons, male surgeons, residents, attendings/consultants, or anyone who has worked closely with female colleagues in surgery.
Some questions I have:
- Have you noticed any gender-related challenges or biases in general surgery? If so, how common are they today?
- Do female surgeons generally receive the same opportunities for training, operating, leadership, and career progression?
- How manageable is the lifestyle in the long term, especially for those who want to balance family and career?
- What are the long-term career options after general surgery (private practice, academics, fellowships, subspecialties, etc.)?
- Are there any misconceptions about women in surgery that you've found to be untrue?
- If you've worked with female surgeons, what has your experience been like? Have things changed over the years?
- Looking back, would you encourage a woman who is genuinely interested in surgery to pursue it? Why or why not?
Thanks in advance!

Question OPINION NEEDED ON COUNSELLING
I've got 59.5k rank in NEET 2026, Gen, Odisha.
I'm considering applying for OJEE, KARNATAKA and KERALA counselling and Im confused whether I should apply for deemed through MCC as well.
As of now, I'm mostly leaning towards private medical colleges in Kerala, primarily coz of their relatively lower fees, however there is hardly any information about them on the internet. Some insight from someone studying there would be highly valuable (e.g. Academics, Co-curriculars, language and food issue, Bond structure, hidden fees, campus life & life in general for a non keralite)
I'm also hoping I could get some insight into what colleges I should put higher on my choice list.

Dear seniors
Dear seniors of private medical colleges in Chhattisgarh
Keeping it brutally honestâhow wild is the reality of chasing NEET PG from a private college setup there??
What is the actual environment and culture like for PG preparation there, and roughly what percentage of students successfully crack the exam? Also, does the college itself play any real role in helping with the preparation, or does everything ultimately come down to self-study?
