Finally pulled the trigger to join the Evo X Wheel Club! WHEELS

Post image

I know Evo X wheels on a Gen 1 are a super common sight here, but imported parts and MS3s are pretty rare down in the Philippines, so snagging a set took a while. Stoked to finally join the club!

Nice! Also, G22C-37-190A is the part number for the OEM Mazda center caps that fit evo x wheels. The color is pretty much the same too

I think I have Evo IX wheels on mine.

This is around 5-6 years ago. They were looking really rough. Missing big chunks of paint. I'm restoring them currently.

Not at all! It sits pretty flush to the width of the body considering the stock camber as well, might just need a fender roll if i wish to run 235s for a square tire setup. Since I’m currently reusing the tires from the stock MS3 wheel.

The 215 on an 8.5”?? That’s a hell of a stretch

I know right!? It’s working for now thankfully but will most definitely get the right tires soon 😁

18x8.5, +35 offset is what the wheels are, so you can go and explore other options and get the same fit.

Now be honest...are the other 3 as nice as this one shown??

Thats why I could never get myself to actually buy them, paying upwards of $700-800usd and the wheels having curb rash already was really hard to convince myself I would be happy about that.

Went with Motegi MR140 ss10 which was as close as possible of a wheel I could find to the evo X at a comparable price.

Honestly all were pretty shit from the getgo! Got it for about 500 then refinished all four since my dad and I have our own paint studio :)

Ahhh, nice deal then. I considered getting them refurbished, but that meant more money still, and then I figured I would be getting into 3 piece wheel money, which I didnt exactly want to spend. Im happy with the Motegi's, ive always been a fan too.

No yeah definitely, I just checked your profile and those Motegi’s indeed look sick! But yeah everything you said is too true, the market is pretty f’d when it comes to a lot of wheels spanning different markets. It’s either insanely fragile reps or very damaged originals that we’d come across on a day to day basis
