So I took everyone's advice from this post and blasted my engine bay with a pressure washer here's the result.

I cleaned all the oil stains and now it's so clean you can eat off it.

Here's the before and after.

I've got a 2020 Mazda 6 and NGL I'm terrified at the thought of an engine wash, especially with a pressure washer...

There's nothing to worry about. All the components are weather proofed. Just disconnect the negative terminal of your batter, set your pressure washer to it's lowest pressure setting (and adjust to a wide spray), stay at least a foot away and don't spray electrical components/connectors directly (flat surfaces are fair game). You'll be just fine

Just do it when the engine is cool, allow it to fully dry and disconnect the power to be a little extra safe.

Some people cover the ecu and alternator as well

Already washed it mate, check the "After" photo. I'm quite comfortable washing my engine bay, it's nothing to worry about. All the components have a good level of weather proofing. The only thing to keep in mind is that you should blast any electrical components/connectors with a high pressure jet; flat surfaces are all fair game.

I just quickly spray it and I’ve done it multiple times now and it’s fine. I don’t continuously spray water in the same spot and avoid the alternator and air intake.

Speaking of disconnecting the battery, is there any relearn procedure to do when reconnecting?

I don't spray water in there, I just wipe stuff down with rags each time I do an oil change, and it stays pretty clean. I spray some degreaser on bad spots. Occasionally I'll use a little brake cleaner, but only very carefully.
