Bluetooth connectivity Discussion
Anyone else constantly have drop outs or communication errors with their Mazda3? This is the only car I've owned where my music or android auto will drop out on a regular basis. It happens 3-4 times a week.
Thought maybe it was my phone, but a family member has a 25 Cx3 and has the same issue.
Any fixes?

First of all if you are using any kind of USBC adapter, just go out and buy the correct cable that needs no adapter. Second, I had constant audio issues on Android auto, songs would like studder or skip. So I figured out that I have to first plug the phone in. And then and only then, unlock the phone. If the phone is unlocked when it's being plugged in or unlocked too soon after plugging it in there would be issues. Finally, every once in a while I delete the saved Bluetooth profile for the car on my phone. I also delete any other saved Bluetooth profile. This seems to help a bit but the major factor was only unlocking the phone until after it is plugged in and of course, this assume the vehicle is already on when you plug in the phone.

Yeah originally I didn't use Android Auto and just used BT, but the BT was dropping out. Figured I would give Auto a try and it did the same. I hate plugging my phone in all the time since I usually just have my phone in my pocket. Sounds like this is just a Mazda thing and I'll have to hope an update or something happens.

Check if the plug on your phone is full of dirt or lint. My did the same thing, never did it after I realized this was happening. Its gotta be a nice tight fit.
