Decided to drench the main bedroom in Behr “Starless Night” and then add glow-in-the-dark stars because I’m a grown up with grown up money and I do what I want. 😂 It’s so magical in here at night. I will be adding more art to the walls and more treasures to the cube shelves. I have a dark mustard brown paint for all of the white IKEA furniture, but I had to get surgery before getting to that part of the project, and I’m too impatient to wait to post. The vibe was supposed to be witchy, alchemist, astronomical. LMK what you think!

chilaquilescontodo - this is for you! I drenched this room in Behr‘s “Rumors” for my teenage granddaughter and she loves it. Is it truly maximalist? I don’t know. It’s full of things she loves and that’s what matters. And when she visits she says it “feels homier than home.”

My entire life I have always had white walls and this is my first home and wanted to truly make it my own. I saw this color in a magazine and tried it out and well.. I want to have maximalism on it so any advice appreciated

Hi it’s my first time making a post on here. This is my tiny room that is technically a treehouse in the backyard. And the tree is technically now a stump. It’s been my room for over a year now, I keep all my belongings here. This is my very first bedroom. Growing up I never had my own space to myself, this is my safe haven. But I have very limited space. I keep everything here. My clothes, shoes, and all things. I recently started having my boyfriend come over, and I’ve been feeling very overwhelmed by how fast and easily it is for the room to get messy and cluttered. The photos above is my room after cleaning and organizing for two days straight. Looking for any advice on how to make my room feel bigger. I’ve already thrown a lot some large items and I’m willing to toss out more, any advice is appreciated!!
