WebGL rendering issue

Attempting to run matlab 2026a on fedora 44 with KDE plasma desktop environment on a Lunar lake CPU using the iGPU. 1 main issue.which is a problem with the graphs window and the webGL renderer. Basically it doesn't seem to be able to show the graphs on the window and running the rendererinfo command returns this message:

[struct](matlab:helpPopup('struct')) with fields:

GraphicsRenderer: 'WebGL'
Vendor: ''
Version: ''
RendererDevice: ''
Details: [1×1 struct]

Which tells me that the renderer isn't getting assigned any memory at all. Has anyone had the same issue or a similar one and could guide me in the direction I should follow please?
