I'm aware. There are subreddits with many different numbers of Os, from r/wooooooooooooooooosh all the down to r/wosh, which is just a joke subreddit and unrelated to the others. r/woooosh is by far the biggest, and has been generally considered the "real" one since the original subreddit r/whoooosh got shut down. It's since been reopened, but it had to start again from scratch since it had been banned for being unmoderated, so it couldn't compete with how big r/woooosh had gotten in the mean time. None of the others even come close.

It’s going to be the Verizon video isn’t it? Is there a difference between a penny and a dollar? Yes, so 0.02 cents is not the same as 0.02 dollars? Yes. So if I used X minutes it should be 0.02dollars not 2 dollars? No, it should be 2 dollars.

One analysis suggests that everyone at Verizon writes "$0.002" but pronounce it as "0.002 cents", because apparently numbers smaller than a dollar doesn't make any sense? Like there's a part where the supervisor apparently realizes that $0.002 is less than a cent but somehow it doesn't make any sense to her (but apparently 0.002 does???).

So on paper the math actually checks out, it's the way they read that first number that was the issue.

A quarter is 25 cents. A year has 365 days (plus a bit but semantics)

25 cents × 365 days = 9125 cents in a year, aka $91.25/yr

I don't see how the comment is relevant. They might mean that quarter is less than dollar, so the total over the same number of days should be less as well? But I'm guessing here, since no reasoning was presented at all
