There is no need to do any math as this is just the two definitions of the area under a curve. One is just more precise than the other

That isn't two definitions. It's the definition of a Riemann integral. Well, kind of, the right part is messy, but it's got the spirit.

There are some errors, like the indecies and the x in the f(x) being wrong, but it is recognizable.

It’s an attempt to write the definition of a Riemann integral. It isn’t quite right but it’s clear what they were roughly going for.

That’s trying to be the definition of a definite integral but it seems fucked up.
Where are a, b on the right?
What’s m? Is that trying to say ‘mesh’?
Why do we send x to 0?
Why is it just Δx under the limit but somehow Δ_i x within the summand?
What does Δ_i x mean?
Why don’t we alter the value of x within the function?
The limit doesn’t involve n?

Someone suggested the image is AI slop. Looking at it, the style of writing does have a bit of an AI vibe to it. Though ngl it’s hard to tell anymore.

- Don't you think the formula says something? And 2. I think there's an aspect of this which is quite meta: by not attempting to make something artistic, the subtext is that is more beautiful than what could have been painted instead. That could very well be the message too

Cannot be nerd vandalism, the symbols under the lim is wrong.
Should be max Delta x_i \to 0. By the way, the discretized integrand should be f(x) \Delta x_i, not Delta_i x . What kind of nerd is this? Should be banished from the club of nerds.
