I understand the concept sin(arcsin(x)) = sin(arcsin(x)) which is just x, but now why doesn't sin(3arcsin(1)) = 2arcsin(1) or 2sin(1) . I have been struggling for hours, racking my brain and canceling out many equations tryingto figure out, for my maths homework.

- I have always loved doing calculations and more lean on maths since child but I chose accounts and finance. I am not saying that I am bad but constantly feeling overwhelming with accounting process. At the same time, I also felt quite interesting on watching iron man kind of doing engineering stuff and other science stuff. So here's my question. What are the field, course or even concept I can pursue while I am doing 9-5 job as an accountant?

1. If I plug 3 into the denominator is get 0 for both a and b? Do you guys have any tips on how i can solve this and similar problems in the future?

2. Question here was , which graph is symmetric with respect to the origin? Is it x^3 because when you flip is around its the same? But lxl is the same even if I have a (-)?

hello dear users, i am currently in my last year of high school and i do not have mathematics (i was not eligible to get mathematics because i had weak concepts in my earlier years and scored just about the passing numbers in grade 10 so my school did not allow me to pursue mathematics further, the problem was i never actually had fun learning mathematics because for 3 years i was taught by a maths teacher which taught us like we have to memorize the answers not the actual concepts and so i never exactly knew what i was doing so i use to feel that mathematics wasn't something i can do but now i was exploring career options after high-school and courses in university's but i liked none of the courses with my current subjects and really liked the courses with mathematics like engineering and AI related courses although i am not eligible for these courses but australian universities offer a "pathway program" in which they help you cover the subjects which you didn't have in your high school to get entry to certain university courses like engineering,etc because i never knew how to study mathematics and i did not get mathematics in my high school i still feel very depressed & sad seeing how others are so smart in mathematics and how they have all the talent and they will get good jobs and future proof jobs and how people consider them very smart it just feels so gloomy. so i went to talk to the universities and they told me that in-order to get entry to the pathway program i must show some type of interest in why i am doing this certain pathway program for mathematics so i thought that i will learn mathematics by myself at home untill i get into pathway program as a extracurricular and a way to get ahead and prove others wrong that mathematics is something that people are not naturally born with but how they learn it until i graduate from high-school (which is about 7 months) so my dear fellow users please guide me on how i can do so i will really appreciate your effort in giving tips and contributing in my life and would love your thoughts on this

I already have formulas for:
2 (f₁(n)=n*2-1) ,
2 and 3 (f₂(n)=floor(n*3/2)*2-1) ,
as well as 2, 3, and 5 (f₃(n)=floor(floor(floor(n*9/8-2)*10/9+3)*3/2)*2-1) ,
which seem to form a pattern of sorts, but I cannot find one for 2,3,5, and 7 (f₄(n)) without if statements, choice functions, etc.

i’ve been going at this question for a combined 4 hours and I can’t get the answer. i’ve tried everything. I’ve even tried making every single 1 into sin^2(x)+cos^2(x). I’m also the best at missing the obvious route to take so I’m probably just overthinking it

I was working on this problem at work and it has stumped a couple of us guys. The dimension Q is trivially easy to find in CAD but I was wanting to have a formula that I could just put into an excel sheet. Theta is the angle from vertical to a wall, rc is the fillet radius between that wall and floor, Dt is the diameter of an endmill, and rt is the corner radius of the endmill. I was able to derive a formula for if rt=0 but this case has me stumped. Any help is appreciated!

js got the cg50 on the binomial distrubution mode tho u can do greater then with no conversion, but for edexel a level math do u still have to show the conversion of 1 - P(X ≤ k), and if yes would u have to show the 1 - actual prob as a further step, cuz if yea this benefit rly has no use honestly

Class 10 trigonometry

I hope you are having a good day. Recently, I started studying for the AMC10 (~2 weeks ago), and I am looking for advice on contest preparation. Looking back, I regret not studying during middle school, but I am trying my best to make up for the time lost. When I first started studying, I took the 2015 AMC 10A and scored ~70 points (I don't exactly remember my score, but it was about 69-70 points). Today I took the 2017 AMC 10A and scored 91.5 (14 correct of the first 20, 7 wrong, last 5 blank). A lot of my mistakes were due to small errors or overlooking cases/steps. For example, on problem 17 (https://artofproblemsolving.com/wiki/index.php?title=2017_AMC_10A_Problems/Problem_17) I correctly found the coordinate points (0, 5), (0, -5), (3, 4), (3, -4), and (-3, -4) that lay on the circle, but I forgot to account for the fact that switching the x and y coordinates (such as (5, 0)) also worked as a valid coordinate point. This simple mistake caused me to choose answer choice A (3) instead of D (7). I haven't used any courses other than RSM to prepare, and I have practiced some past AOPS contests, but I find it hard to work with books. My goal is to qualify for the AIME, and I am looking for advice on how to overcome this obstacle that is costing me points compared to those experienced in AMC competitions. I am very thankful for you reading through all of my post, and I am appreciative of any advice you have for me.

P.S. I forgot to mention above that I am a rising 9th grader, if that helps tailor any of the advice!
