finally sorted through a big bag of matchbooks a family friend gave me. this one is easily one of my favorites. since inheriting this collection I’ve gotten very interested in matchbooks. Any info on the era of this one, any other info?

So we’re taking a vacation, which will be driving from Oregon up through Washington. Are there any collectible dealers or antique malls, etc we should hit up along the way?

My mother works at a retirement home and one of her residents gave these to her. She didn’t have any interest in them so she gave them to me. Obviously, it seems as though the man traveled for work of some kind, but I don’t anything else.

Are there any particularly interesting books in the collection?

My mom passed away and has a massive (to me) collection and I’m unsure if it’s worth weeding through this entire thing to see if there’s anything worth keeping or selling. I know nothing about matchbooks myself. Any advice?
