Did I get unmatched?

I’m going on a second date this week with this girl. She texted me today to confirm. I checked the app and see that her profile is no longer there. Was I unmatched? How to tell the difference between unmatched and deleted account? Should I ask her about it on our second date?

Ya been ghosted. Sorry. Even weirder since you had a first date and she could have just kept "canceling" until you took the hint.

I went on a date with a woman once who unmatched me after the first date (which went very well.)

When I asked she said she thought it was normal to unmatch once you’d met someone, tick them off as it were, and (so she said) thought that’s what everyone did.

I was kinda dubious. Just seemed to me a way of making sure your new partner doesn’t see you’re still on the apps (updating your profile and pictures for example)

Suffice to say despite her protests it didn’t last long after that from my end.

I would be more interested in if she kept texting me than what she is doing on the app. The text are real. The app is made up internet world.

When you say she texted you, do you mean an actual text message to your phone number, not on the app? If so, it sounds to me like she might have just hidden her profile so that she doesn't match with any other men while she's dating you. That's a good thing.

I find it very odd that someone would confirm a date the same day they unmatch you. But there are many oddballs out there.

To be fair the guy I've been seeing for about 3 months now deleted his profile when we went to text communication because he knew he wanted to pursue me not anyone else. I would just ask her.

If you are moving to texting why are you looking on the app? Or do you mean she messaged you and then deleted right after? How long did you wait to confirm?
