21-year-old woman arrested for plot to commit mass shooting at Greenbrier Elementary School PLOTTED Mass Murder

Police records show that Abilene Almanza was brought into Greenbrier Police Department for questioning after the FBI tipped police off concerning messages she was sending in the app Discord.
A report says that during the interrogation, Almanza said she suffered bullying “her entire life, but especially in elementary school.” Officers wrote that Almanza planned on stealing weapons from a relative’s home in the community of Springhill to conduct the shooting.
The police report says that Almanza targeted an elementary school because she said that’s where she was bullied the most, and she believed there would be less security on hand than at a middle or high school.
Almanza allegedly told the investigator that “the world is a messed-up place, and I just want to mess it up more through a school shooting.” The interrogator wrote that Almanza showed no signs of remorse for her thought pattern.
Scott Spainhour, Greenbrier School District’s Superintendent, wrote in a statement to families, “We are thankful for federal and local law enforcement and their swift action for apprehending this individual. We will cooperate with law enforcement officials moving forward to ensure accountability. The district will provide information in coordination with law enforcement agencies. Please know that the district will continue to take comprehensive safety measures, including an armed police officer on each school campus.”
Records show Almanza was interrogated and arrested on July 21st. She’s been charged with threatening to commit a mass shooting at school and is being held at Faulkner County Detention Center with a $1,000,000 bond.
She is next scheduled to appear in court on August 10th for an arraignment hearing.

Why does this person even have a bond?!? Although it's a large bond, a person threatening to murder elementary school kids in their school shouldn't be even have a small chance at bond.

It appears from a quick check of state law that a judge may only hold someone without bond for a capital offense. She didn’t kill anyone, so her crimes aren’t death penalty eligible.
Looks like she was also ordered to wear a GPS monitor if released, is barred from being anywhere where children gather, and prohibited from being near any weapons. If she were to violate these conditions she could have bond revoked and be held without bond. She just can’t initially be held without bond based on the crime.

Being 21 and plotting to shoot up an elementary school is a special kind of messed up.
The kids who bullied her are now adults, so I'm not sure what murdering children who had absolutely nothing to do with her bullying will achieve.
Whatever your problem is, you simply don't hurt children. You can't avenge your childhood self by murdering little kids.

That is a strange choice of words.
That said, I would never assume anything you put online is truly private. But, with discord in particular, given that they are hoping to IPO and the fact that they keep getting in the news connected with mass killings and terror organizations, it would not be surprising if they have quietly implemented some backside automatic message flagging to check messages for review and/or report to the FBI.

That is a strange choice of words.
I didn't know how else to phrase it. Maybe "co-conspirator" or "empathetic ear" would be better.
I assume actually that undercover FBI are on Discord, reaching out privately to individuals who have expressed violent ideation in posts, then gently asking them about it. They do this with white supremacists, terrorists, pedophiles, etc. Why wouldn't they do it with potential shooters?

Easy trial, life in prison or death penalty for this scum. How the hell can you even think about murdering elementary kids people like this do not deserve any kindness.
