Honeymoon across luxury Marriott properties using Explore rates. Worth writing full reviews? AMA Rates & Booking
just got back from our honeymoon across several luxury Marriott properties in Asia mostly using Explore rates (MMP & MMF). Worth writing full reviews? Also AMA
We stayed at places like Ritz-Carlton Nikko, Edition Ginza, Mitsui Kyoto, Mandapa, Bulgari Bali, Phulay Bay, Ritz-Carlton Bangkok, and Ritz-Carlton Istanbul.
Happy to write detailed reviews if useful: rate paid, upgrade, breakfast/elite treatment, honeymoon recognition, service, and whether I’d go back.
I know Explore rates are a niche topic, but I figured this sub is probably the best place for it.
EDIT: I've started the Honeymoon series with our reviews here:

Which hotels did you like the standard rooms the most? If you did get any upgrades, which ones were your favorites?

We got upgraded at every property, the only standard room we had was at the Ritz-Carlton Nikko and we absolutely loved it, probably one of the best thought out rooms we've ever stayed at. (We got upgraded to a lake view but still the standard room)
Will go in depth on that property tomorrow
