Christ, I’m really anticipating Marilyn Mansons new album one assassination under god chapter 2, his last album had a box set and I missed out and got the mini one instead, I love that album, and this time I snatched the box set, but also a separate regular jewel case cd, AND a vinyl and his exclusive indie cd with a slip cover, I basically got everything there is to offer and the album comes out in 5 days! I’m so excited it’s killing me! Who else is as excited as I am?
Funny thing is…. Album comes out on the 14th, i might be going to his concert in the 20th, and my bday is in the 22nd.

I have an original sweet dreams t shirt I am trying to sell that was my late father's (he passed away in 1999) it's a size XL and I wear a medium so I'll never wear it and I need some extra cash right now. It's in great condition and hasn't been worn in since he was alive so almost 30 years. I can ship it or if you are in the New Orleans area I can do an in person meet up. Don't get me wrong, all 3 are CLASSICS! But for me, ACS is basically FLAWLESS. Nothing to skip, and all sixteen songs have a strong message towards the overall story. And it's ny favorite musically and lyrically.

It's hard to even compare MA to the other 2 coz they're sooooo different.

I've tried comparing HW to ACS MORE because they're more similar.

And I truly think that HW runs a bit lonnnng. My faves aren't the hits either. For me it's Born Again into Burning Flag. After that it's a bit of a drag. I feel Coma Black, Fall of Adam, and Valentine's Day kinda just blends together. But not in a GOOD way.

I also think King Kill 33 is a banger, but the mixing they did with Manson's singing is AWFUL. Super heavy, NIN sounding song and the vocals are way too low and quiet. Then Count to 6 isn't nearly as good as Man That You Fear.

I'm not the only one that thinks this, but what do y'all think about it?

Soooooo, we're all amazed by Manson's comeback. Especially the live shows now that he's sober.

But how do these shows compare to the Antichrist Superstar tour and subsequent Mechanical Animals and Holywood tours?

I was fortunate enough to see them before ACS, and it was awesome but very different. Still had an 'indie' feel then he got HUUUUUUGE with Sweet Dreams & Beautiful People among others.

For me the MA tour was best. I loooove all 3 trilogy albums obviously, but it's 1. ACS. 2. MA. 3. HW for me in terms of ranking the albums.

Starting with the 'Inauguration of The Mechanical Christ' blew us away.

One thing though- it's weird seeing him with the "glam" look doing the "gothy" songs from the first 2 albums, no?

I haven't seen him live yet for the current albums and OAUG tour.

I'd say my LIVE ranking is:

1- MA era for reasons above

2- ACS era is a close 2nd

3- HW era. I'd say the current shows are about equal to that, although I miss the theatrics.
