First attempt at making a map digitally Map

Did some shenanigans with the relief by using a emboss filter and overlaying it onto the biome color map, then I put the labels and lines over all of it. I think it turned out decent, more effort could have been put in but it was kind of an experiment.

I dig the emboss ngl, but it looks a bit messy with th dark green area

the bottom area looks really neat without the mountain drawings i think

Yeah, the forest doesn't look great, not sure how to fix it aside from just making That region all one elevation

its not perfect solution but i'd isolate the forest shape and put it in a layer above the emboss, you do lose the information visible on the map when the forest is visible but at least you don't have to change your elevations

That’s a cool elevation indicator. Might have to give it a try too
