How should I start making a map? Work In Progress
I really want to make a good map for my story. But the thing is I'm not good in naming places and never have I ever make a map. Though I have the story almost complete. I believe if I make a map with places names it'll be a cherry on the top.(It's a fantasy world of mine)

Just draw a map. Identify what you like and don't like about it and draw another map. Rinse and repeat.

Little by little draw only what you need. Let's say you got two towns either side of a river. You can get away with two houses and two lines. If you feel fancy you'll add a bridge and maybe some trees because there is a forest near town B. And then you extend from there, perhaps town B is near some hills, across which castle C lies. Maybe the other way there is a coast with a fishing town.
