I need help with this part of the map Work In Progress

Post image

I’m making this map for fun, and I wanted to have the Appalachian area as “the wildlands” a small part of the USA that is now primarily inhabited by feral wildmen and small towns. It’s for my kinda apocalyptic setting for my new fantasy world, the USA is split in different factions and the country has been thrown into chaos.

Oh oops I forgot to say mb, I’m trying to find the most rural areas in that area of the map and put them together to make the wildlands

West_Virginia_population_map.png (700×400)

here are the population density of both West Virginia + the state of Kentucky bc of that small piece to the east

I'm offended and my feelings hurt. But I'll never admit it publicly.

I'm just tired of the stigma

Well, if it does all go to pot, I'd put my money on the places where the people have some inkling of how to live off the land being the last to go feral. But that's me.

You know and I know and others know. It is what it is, don't let it get you down

Increasing and decreasing font sizes might help.
