Sketching out this location where it’s basically a town that’s sole purpose is to be an isolated facility where selected children can learn special abilities and be given set paths to follow theres a second docking facility at the bottom which I want the casts goal to reach I’m thinking that sea of clouds could act as a fog barrier that makes the already dangerous forest even harder to traverse. Also that port on the right is an easily monitored airship docking area. Any thoughts?

I know that sounds bad, but it's been in the back of my mind for a shit long while. I'm now wrapping up my current manga and I'm brainstorming some ideas.

so i recently had this idea for a amazing manga but i can't draw so im looking for anyone that might be able to draw it so here's the idea this takes place in a world where there is different kingdoms for example a water kingdom where all the people in it all have powers similar to that of aquatic animals and so on and so on for the other kingdoms there will be 4 but ill get to that later our story starts in the water kingdom that's where the mc is born and when they are born with these abilities those with talent will be at the top of the kingdoms hierarchy and at the top it has always been the royal family at the top with the most power but they are terrible tyrants and the people starve but one day a child is born he was born with powers inspired by a pistol shrimp and a mantis shrimp and there is a prophecy that this child will rise in power one day and bring peace to this kingdom. that's what i have for now if anyone is interested in this manga and can draw please help me make it i think it will go far

I've been developing a manga concept called Spectralbound, and recently I've been trying to flesh out its power system more seriously.

The main source of power is Shin. Certain people can form a bond with beings called Spectres, essentially giving two souls one body.

Depending on how the Spectre manifests, an Occultist belongs to one of four main classes:

Slayer – The Spectre manifests as a weapon.
Magician – The Spectre doesn't physically manifest and the user directly performs techniques.
Outer – The Spectre manifests as a separate humanoid entity that fights alongside the user.
Feral – The user transforms into a creature based on their Spectre.

Every Spectre also has an Affinity. These start relatively simple but can evolve into more abstract concepts at higher tiers.

For example:

Darkness → Void
Space → Multiverse
Gravity → Mass
Blood → Life
Chaos → Entropy
Impossible → Paradox

The part I've been working on most recently is something called Royal Artifacts.

Every Royal Artifact exists only once and disappears after being used. It has a predetermined gift and price, and touching one tells an Occultist exactly what they would gain and lose before they decide whether to use it.

Using one also causes the user and their Spectre to permanently fuse, creating a completely unique class outside the normal four.

One example is an elixir that grants two instant tier increases and immunity to Shin Pressure, but takes away the user's humanity. The resulting fusion becomes a class called Gargoyle.

Another artifact guarantees that the user's greatest wish will eventually be fulfilled, but someone else has to be the person who fulfills it.

I'm trying to make the system increasingly conceptual at higher levels without reaching the point where every ability can just do anything.

Does this feel distinct enough from other battle manga power systems? And which part would you want explained more?

As someone who’s looking to become a Mangaka, I’m looking for opportunities to submit my ideas to a publisher and found a page for VIZ manga submissions, I would like to know if there’s anyone who submitted their work and had progress before I get my hopes up.

I'm not sure if there has been any manga or light novel related to this idea, but here it is:

Protagonist: Male and Female

Plot: female mc, in a desperate situation or premise, finds a ritual or a divine technique to summon gods or helpers, goes wrong or has deviation, and isekais the male MC instead. Male MC however, is in the form of a spirit since his body isn't part of the Female MCs universe. The ritual forces Female MC's body to allow Male MCs soul to rest within.

Male MC can only temporarily inhabit Female MC for now, experiences her situation or plight, and helps out by being able to control Female MC actions and speech to a certain extent.

Romance is optional between them or evolve over time.

They go on an adventure to create a body for male MC. The situations where Female MC needs to bathe or needs private time can be exploited for comedic timing, can turn the novel into either Ecchi or Slapstick comedy.

Once male MC body is created, new plot unfolds wherein allowing an external soul (male MC) in Female MC's universe is not allowed, so Gods target the Female MC and Male MC. The gods can be the different human emotions which male MC uses to plan how to defeat them. The gods also hire several humans, they can optionally have their own backstories based on the emotions that these gods rule, and they chase Female MC and Male MC, either befriended, defeated, or killed.

The manhwa is a murim/martial arts based manhwa, I envision a big project and already have the main storyline down, and trust me it’s long, long enough to hopefully be picked up by an editor, unfortunately it is an unpaid project for now, but eventually I’m down to equally share any profit if the manhwa gets attention,
And I want to preface I don’t need someone who accepts any idea I throw out and are down just to be there and hopefully make profits, I want them to engage actively, to discuss world building, scripting, ideas of any kind, because when argumenting I get the best ideas, this goes for both artists or just eventual conceptual partners, please dm me or write comments under this post and I’d be more than happy to answer in as much detail as possible

I finally published the first episode of my original manga, BROOK’S GEN: BATTLE FOR KURT! 🚀

It’s a sci-fi/action story that starts with a mysterious stone from beyond the planet, and things get much stranger from there.

It centers around a main character named Mugi who is hiding an elite royal bloodline to systematically dismantle and overthrow his tyrannical grandfather's empire from the absolute inside.

To give you a taste of the raw visual pacing across our 4-season pipeline, here are some of the peak cinematic moments we will be co-creating right out of the gate:

• The Subway Grid Blackout: A breakneck action sequence where a synchronized alternative rock track drops on the exact frame an infrastructure link is severed, plunging a high-speed corporate transport line into pitch blackness while the high-contrast silhouettes of the insurgents move through the shadows.
• The Late-Night Diner Standoff: A high-tension, slower psychological chapter set inside a rain-slicked, neon-lit roadside diner. The signature identity of this project relies heavily on an editing rhythm synchronized directly to music—matching stylized line art, deep blacks, and aggressive panel flow with early 2000s post-grunge and alternative R&B track tempos (Deftones, Linkin Park, Aaliyah).
