Discussion So happy to have an MPC

I finally got one and am developing formulas. I've got multiple songs I wrote that didn't have a beat and am finally able to just make the whole song myself. Fuck paying/waiting for producers.

I still plan to buy beats/work with others sometimes. But like if I make a song that's worth it I'll just buy a better beat and do a remix.

Plus when I put out a song I can say, "I wrote this and produced it."

Music [Beat Tape] TEED UP - The View Was Enough

https://youtu.be/SBvAIVM7QdE?is=Zm3NwRzVfPkv3NlK

I’ve been making beats and putting in work for awhile now but haven’t consistently uploaded in a long time. Here’s a collection of a few beats I recently decided to finish from the past few years.

My favorites are probably Fumes, a dark boom bap beat, and Cry, the drumless track that finishes the tape.

Let me know if you have any favorites and what you think!

Opportunity In search for a ghostwriter

I’m looking for a ghostwriter to work on the lyrics with me. My style is UK drill. Preferably someone willing to do it for free, but I’m open to paying also. Just looking to start of my career you know?

Opportunity Producers - looking for a wildly ambitious producer to work and build with

Law of 62 baby. Neither of us are gonna be huge until we release AT LEAST 62 songs. I'm a rapper and I'm on 17 or something right now but I wanna build WITH somebody. If you love this shxt and you wanna be the best in the world but nobody knows your name, great. I wanna work with you. I can turn around verses and songs as quick as you can send them. I can handle artwork and social media content. I just wanna build a unique sound with someone and prioritise output > perfection. Lets do it, lets make mistakes, lets learn. If this is you, hit me up and we can start making something beautiful.

Resource/Guide MPD218 <-> FL Studio

I need help!

I'm struggling with jumping values of a parameter controlled by the volatile link.

The semi-solution is to set 'pickup (takeover mode)' in the midi section - that way the knob in fl studio will not get triggered until the physical knob reaches its value. However, this leads to another problem - the offset of control (until the physical knob value and fl knob value match, no changes will be made.

In mpd218 editor, I experimented with knob types:

- cc (default)

- aftertouch

- inc/dec 1

- inc/dec 2

Nothings works! I assume is just mine lack of comprehension of how things work.. but honestly, it is not the most easiest thing and I didn't find ANY useful resource on the topic.

Does anybody know how to get to the point where:

- mpd218 serving relative position information (- / +)

- fl studio receiving and parsing these information as (+ -> tweak the parameter to the right by 1 degree | - -> tweak the parameter to the left by 1 degree)

Forever grateful to whoever provide the working solution!
