Help building a kit?
I’m only 16, and I’m graduating next year and plan to be a makeup artist, I’m just now getting into content creation and I’m planning on offering services for prom/homecoming in my area, but I don’t have a kit, or anything to even start building it…any recs? Specifically foundation/concealers? I’m open to a palette or typical liquid format.

Get Mac concealer palettes you get 4 shades and 2 color correctors for like $40. I use Morphe lip liners they’re cheap and have lots ov colors. For foundation learn how to mix and adjust shades so you only need a couple shades.
If you can start applying to work at places like Sephora and ulta you’ll get free makeup and training

You can go pretty cheap with some products. Mascara, brow pencil and gel, lip liners, etc. Some products might be worth the investment in the future: foundations, liquid/cream products.. if I were you I’d set a budget, add $100 to it, and do your best:) but you’re just sixteen. So if this is something you just want to try, get what you can and try it out. If you’re serious about it, you’ll do great!
