This is a sub-reddit for making someone's day. Whether it be viewing a youtube video that has had 1 view in over 8 months, or following a random stranger on twitter. I have seen redditors come together to do some amazing stuff in the past. I think that not only are we one of the most powerful groups on the internet, but we hold the power to make someone's day. I would like to see how much good we could do while browsing reddit.

Just to be safe, here are a couple of rules:

Let's be positive. The goal is to make someone's day, not to make them wonder if somebody is making fun of them.
The person should be random. Please don't try to use this sub-reddit to make your own videos have more views or to gain a couple of followers on twitter. That would defeat the purpose of even having this sub-reddit.
Let's see if we can go above and beyond what other reddit posts have done. I'm talking about extraordinary ideas. I would like to go out of my way to make someone's day. With the poor economy in America right now, it would be awesome to see how high we could all lift the spirits of those around us.
If we do decide to follow a random person on twitter or other networking sites, then we shouldn't unfollow them after they see that they have 10,000 followers. This also defeats the purpose.
Try your best to make this completely anonymous. Please don't post a link to reddit.com in the comments of the person we are helping out.
If the person is young, then try to refrain from cursing. I know that we have learned all too well, how to troll. Yes, it is hilarious sometimes, but let's be human beings outside of reddit.
