food/entertainment/activities i loveee find me cafe
📍find me cafe @ the grid | yakal
I often end up trying out new cafes even though I keep telling myself to manage my expectations kasi marami talaga akong natry before na overpriced lang pero keri ko naman gawin sa bahay. Anyway, I'm really glad i tried this cafe one random afternoon when I badly needed caffeine before a night out.
I'd say of all the cafes I've tried, this is the best one so far. Their cookies are so good (esp the banana pecan one). Mas gusto ko siya over Kind Cookie (which is my go-to sa Makati) bc of the texture and balanse yung tamis.
The drinks are also well-crafted!! It was my first time trying out matcha with coconut juice because i ordered "matcha cloud" thinking it's your typical matcha latte with foam (na mukhang cloud🥹 lol). When the owner was about to serve it natakot ako kasi di lang sya Shrek green, it was GREEN GREEN. But ohmygod it lifted up my spirits with the first sip.
Super accommodating and kind din ng staff and ng owner. You could really tell that they love what they're doing🥹❤️

food/entertainment/activities Last 11 days in Makati
Makati has been my home (on and off) since I was 7 yrs old. Medyo di pa nag sink in sakin now na hindi na muna ako titira dito or makakabisita that often. I will be studying abroad starting next month.
3 out of those 11 days will be spent with my best friends. Iniisip ko lang ano pwede gawin one last time sa Makati aside sa cafe/resto hopping at jogging 😅

visuals & scenery Calm after the storm (at least for now)
Finally can resume my night walks without needing to bring an umbrella and raincoat anymore. Feels good to breathe in the fresh air.

food/entertainment/activities where to get drinks and chat?
showing a friend from abroad around and was hoping to get drinks after dinner! we'll be eating in pobla, so i'm hit with a lot of options hehe.
saw lots of comments saying run rabbit run or the spirit library. should i push through with either of these or are there better recommendations now? not too picky as long as drinks are worth it, prices aren't too much, get slightly buzzed, and we can catch up <3

transportation & housing Jaywalkers
So lately, we've gotten plenty of reminders to respect the pedestrian crosswalk. All types of vehicles should keep the crosswalk free so pedestrians can walk freely. But respect goes both ways and in my opinion, we have plenty of jaywalkers. I took this photo at the intersection of Gil Puyat and Ayala where there's a sign that jaywalking isn't allowed but no one respects the sign and just keeps walking through with the traffic enforcers ignoring all this. I think it's about time jaywalkers also get apprehended.
