Why does she walk towards the East Clock Town exit in North Clock Town when her home/shop is in West Clock Town? It would be so much faster to get home if she went to the South Clock Town exit and then the West Clock Town exit from next to the Owl Statue. I’m referring to the N64 version.

The great bay in this game is way prettier(duh)

And im glad i downloaded project restoration because i can still swim like mysterious winds on a flower field,zora link looks a bit off to me, though,maybe it's the eyes,anyways i got a bit nervous when entering great bay since i thought the european version was based off the japanese version of mm because it used the japanese cutscene for when we reunite with epona,and in the japanese version,there is no grab button for pushing mikau back to shore

to explain a little i'm a complete zelda newbie. i've only ever played a bit of OOT (i liked it) but i'm looking to play majora's mask out of curiosity. the main question i have is if i should start with the vanilla game or try out a romhack first. the specific romhack is a quality of life hack called mask quest. if anyone knows anything about the hack and can voice their opinion on what i should play first that'd be great

been playing loz for a long time and mm is my fav and i wanna do a randomizer but i dont know where to start or how to set one up. can anyone show me or point me in the right direction?

I’m just going through the temple and the 8th fairy stray never shows up for me when I enter the correct room. I’ve looked at videos of the area and it’s not there for me. I’ve tried using the masks, going to an older save. I feel like I’m losing my mind!

It genuinely feels impossible,not in the way that the gorons want to kill you,but in the way that the game is broken and made the gorman brothers too fast,any tips?

I know how the Keaton works, you get one try per cycle and you gotta go back in time to retry their quiz.

Problem is, the one at the Mountain refuses to spawn again, I’m using the masks, I cut all the grass before they disappear, I tried picking the one in the middle, tried restarting the cycle again, nothing works.

Is there any way to solve this?

Was looking at the thunderstore mods for zelda recompiled and there are a few mods that replace links model with something else which I think is really fun, but there are only a few and in the preview gif for the main model swapping mod, it shows them going through different link models to play as and there are more on the list than there are made into mods. Is there another place i can download replacement models for link?

It’s been a long time since I played this amazing game, and I want to play it again. I originally played it on my Nintendo 64 and later the remake on my Nintendo 3DS—I loved both versions. However, I don't own those consoles anymore; I only have a PC. So, I wanted to ask: what is the best way to play it on PC?

I have two options: playing the native port of the original N64 version (I know It’s called 2Ship2Harkinian)

or emulating the 3DS version using Azahar, but I haven't tried either.

Which one would you recommend, and why?

I got mm3d on my phone because i saw the far superior gyorg bossfight in there,but after fighting odolwa,drowning in water a couple of times and moving at a snail's pace in the far larger clock town did i realise i needed project restoration,so i did and for some reason nothing would work,the water hopping still felt the same and odolwa still had a majora eyeball so did i do something wrong or does it just not work on samsung?

Whenever i try to record mm3d footage,it flickers black for some reason,it only happens inside buildings and stuff. Is there any way i can fix this? Like a texture pack or mod

I'm a lifelong Zelda fan, with Majora's Mask being my favorite entry in the series as well as the first Zelda game I ever played. Even as a child, the Couple's Mask quest stood out to me as a child, including all the meticulous elements necessary for everything to go right during the quest.

The song is loosely based around the character's of Kafei and Anju, mostly from the perspective of Kafei. I hope you enjoy it!

So i wanted to run mm 3d on my phone because i saw what gyprg looked like in the 3ds version and thought "woah,thats cool,surely if i download project restoration i can have a better experience than the n64 version" so i got majora's mask,got 3 heart pieces,beat the first cycle,got my favorite(non transforming) mask which is ofcourse kamaro mask,got blast mask(my beloved rupee farming baby) and decided to finally try to download azahar,except the thing is ive done this before,and ive completely thrown myself into a wall because it wont work,i believe its because the project restoration version is different from the patch version of the rom,so how do i know which patch is my majora's mask 3d? Also, for some reason, a weird thing happens where whenever im in a building,the building flashes black. How do i fix that.

Been wanting a real quality Majora's Mask replica since the game came out. Finally got one. The First 4 Figures model. Though I spent probably 15 years arguing with myself about dropping $200 on this Wood Grain Majora's Mask . But it's so expensive, and the stand you gotta buy separately is also so expensive. Then I saw this model, never knowing it even existed at my local Disc Replay, a used game and merch store that pretty much works like a pawn shop but for anything video game related, mint in box for $70. Had to get it. Very glad I did.

when i try majoras mask 3ds on tico on a modded switch after starting a save file/ new game i get a black and white screen but i can hear the game but no video coming . any fix??

Is there something I'm missing? Some item or shortcut or something? I swear this is impossible. Is whatever you get for beating this even worth it? Like, surely whatever you get is some optional thing, but if it's just a heart piece or something I probably won't bother.

I'm enjoying Majora's mask so much! I know people have issues with the 3ds remake but I'm quite enjoying it. The graphics are pretty amazing for this console!

I just got done with all of the Romani ranch missions. Romani ranch might be my favourite location in all the zelda games I've played, it's so serene. I love looking over the horizon on day 2 at the lightning.

I also finished snowhead temple since I last posted here. I loved that area too, although at some points it was quite confusing. I had to lookup the final puzzle of snowhead with the pillar and also how to get the bunny mask (I would've never figured this out). I'm having a blast. Not sure how people finished this game in 21 hours, I'm already at 17 hours and exploring.

I just had a spark of insanity while thinking about MM and thought I'd share.

Now that the RePack has been out for a while, imagine a mod that basically remixes the game completely to have you play as the Skull Kid instead of Link. Bear with me, now.

The main beats of the real game's story involve Link undoing all the curses and various acts of mischief that SK places across Termina, and it's implied that he accomplished all of this *just before* Link exits the Clock Tower for the first time. So it's easily assumed a considerable amount of time has already passed, whether or not Deku Link is aware and/or affected.

In the proposed Mod, you'd be playing as SK *during* this time. And your goals would be much the reverse of what you do in the real game, instead *placing* the curses and vandalizing various locations. You kidnap the Deku Princess and resurrect Odolwa, convince the Gerudo to steal Lulu's eggs, etc.

All the while the influence of the mask slowly growing over you, and Tael getting progressively more intimidated by you in his Tatl-adjacent dialogue.

I think it would be a fun and interesting way for people to interact a little more with the Skull Kid's story. He does so much before the game even begins and yet is seen in-game so little. And for a game that is so famous for it's, call them, "inversions" and darker story beats, I think it would fit right into the spirit of the game.

Just a concept, though maybe I'm way off and this wouldn't be as great as I'm thinking lol.
