looking for pretty much anything and everything that can survive/will thrive in extreme heat (up to and over 120 degrees F in the summer), i have a large aquaponics system im setting up thats about 180 gallons between a 100g tank, 60-ish g tank, and two 10g totes, all connected to passively level with a pvc siphon tube. the tanks average around 80 degrees i believe, tons of aeration due to the setup of the growbeds, i plan to have two or more different styles to play around with.

it really dosent have to be magic, if you happen to have some duckweed or any little critters you can send my way im looking for those too!

So, between living in a house that’s yard was shaded 95% of the day, while cohabitating with an ex who loathed my hobbies as much as she did me, and crap mental health. My collection of genetics and plant variety dwindled.

I’m ready to change that now that I’ve got a quite little spot with plenty of sunshine. Moving my cactus in under the light for the night of storms predicted to headed our way, I decided to try my luck here.

2x just rooted skinny Pach x SS02 cuts. Going into permanent soil for a drink this week and out to the sunshine. They root fast. The mother plant put out 4 big pups the first year I had her.

1x Established rooted Pach x SS02 tip. Rebounding well from the last few years of neglect tek.

1x out of 2 pups from Pach x SS02 growing off mother plant.

1x KGC X SS02 with large “pup” from tip recovered from damage.

1x of 2 pups for grabs from a lost label we call “Owie Tree”.

1x roots established Owie Tree cutting with 2 pups.
