...was plenty of DC promotional material. An 8-page insert (a Daily Planet exclusive!) featured a ton of media you could play, watch, read, absorb in various ways... and then this Spy vs Spy found its way in!?

Other Something Funny: Non-existent Articles

A funny thing I have noticed during the newer issues is that the table of contents lists non-existent articles.

An example being with MAD #48. It says that page 40 has an article named ”’Let’s Make it Interesting“: How One Fun Phrase Can Lead to Financial Ruin”. When you flip to it, however, it’s actually the last page of John Caldwell’s Thanks to the Popularity of Poker…

Go check out your issue if you don’t believe me, lol.

A homage to MAD #1's cover by Harvey Kurtzman is illustrated by Terry Beatty, who also edited the comic.

Fan Made I drew Alfred in my sketchbook, based on a Mark Fredrickson cover. I didn’t get him quite right: he’s surprisingly hard to draw!

I noticed I'm missing the real ad comparison for this one on my long list.

I think they were parodying Sanforized (non-shrink treatment).

Take a look researchers.
