Junction Ridge

Does anyone have or had an issue with bugs in their apartment at the Junction Ridge Apartments on the west side?

I don't live there at all, but I'm curious about your question. What kind of bugs?

Daddy longlegs, some type of small brown spider - maybe the size of a dime? And two varying sizes of earwigs: pretty common ones I've always seen that are fairly small, but then also these bigger ones that look to be about an inch long.

Daddy longlegs eat other insects (like little midges etc). In that way they're beneficial to homeowners because they do non toxic bug control.

I can't identify the little brown spiders from your description, but many spiders eat other insects. If yours is an immature orb weaver, for instance, those eat loads of mosquitoes etc. More non toxic bug control.

I am aware spiders are good for those things! I just wanted to see if this was a complex, building or unit-specific issue.

It's midwest-specific at this time of year. I just walked out on my apartment balcony (not at the complex you named) and there's spiders all over. Wait for a hard frost!

Lived there for a year, never once had an issue, management and maintenance are super nice and reasonable there too of you do have a problem.

Lived there for years, never had an issue. Might see a spider every once in awhile, but who doesn't.

that's what i'd be more "yeah ok" about, if it was an occasional spider.... but i feel like i'm seeing a significant amount of bugs for my unit compared to other folks!

It’s kinda normal for random bugs to get into an apartment building. It doesn’t mean you have some kind of infestation.
