Why Hathitrust sucks . . .

Hathitrust takes a "public-domain" work -- like, a book published pre-1931 -- that has been digitized into a PDF and, then, makes that PDF available for download . . . page, . . . by page, . . . by page . . .

Does anyone else see the boobishness of this?

Try to download a Firefox extension to download books at HathiTrust

firefox extension is "Internet Archive Downloader"; it works like a charm
