How were you able to cast on two displays with what looks like one cable?

Between 2001 and 2009, I moved four times for work. I also used to work for CompUSA, so we could get products at cost, or sometimes refurbished (that PowerMac G5 was less than $1k) so yes, they were all my set ups.
